Thanks to slzk and opp for team names, I believe the Singaporean duo is one team? Jay might be Aftershock Racing (confirmation needed), MadMax and Sumo I have no idea about, but I take they're teammates? No name though yet.

We had 10 I think but Robert disconnected.

I got pole but came 2nd so not too bad considering I hate the track. 👍

Also, got a 1'44.9 in practice before the race. :D

Not at all and you're team is only a few points back too.

You have a habit of finishing 3rd Carb- Nurb, Tokyo, Spa last season and Suzuka last season. :lol:

For fun I dragged out my GT5 online Excel file and noticed that I have as many as 31 3rd places on my career, more than any other position (the Tokyo one was my 30th! :gtpflag:)

I have also finished 3rd overall in 4 series already, and holding the position in this one currently.

EDIT: Oops, actually yesterday's Swift race was my 30th 3rd place. :dopey:
 
You finished 3rd last season didn't you (right ahead of me :grumpy:).

You almost got 2nd today though- I was really struggling with my tyres by the end, :scared:

Yes, but I failed to make a move in the chicane, got stuck behind you. :ouch:
 
I did start pulling away at one point then braked way too late into the chicane. :ouch: From then on I could only do 1'46s on a good lap. :nervous:

Notice

After reviewing the replay it seems that proper warm-up lap conduct is not being observed. In today's race there were many people not leaving a sufficient gap between them and the car in front (2-3 car lengths is about right) and therefore much bumping and overtaking was occurring.

As nobody was disadvantaged no action will be taken. But in future if proper conduct is not observed action will be taken.

The first time I've been in this position. A win and a 2nd place with 7 races to go- I've almost reached my points tally for last season. :scared:

You're a good driver, I was expecting you to get a win earlier last season to be honest.

No in all seriousness I didn't expect to get a win last season- it was my first proper online series and I was more than happy with a couple of podiums. I made far too many mistakes to challenge for a win -except maybe Deep Forest but I didn't quite have the pace. 👍

Probably my biggest crash all season there :D
 
Yeah probably. I was hopeful for a win, but you'd been marginally faster all week and by the end, inevitably with my driving :nervous:, my tyres were a bit dodgy after I'd been chasing you for 5 laps or so.

... Anyway..... I was attempting to pass but you're draft meant I misjudged a corner and lost a couple of seconds. Then I just decided I'd hold onto 2nd as I couldn't consistently close on you- I could get up one lap but lose it the next.

After my crash you caught me through the last sector and you were along side me on the start finish straight.

Then you dropped back.
