How do you like the website, you all?

Also, teaming up with MajikTom instead of Aston Martin. I don't like the Aston Martin (sheepish grin!). It's just as fast as every other car, but about 10 times as hard to handle as the 4WD GT-R. The GT-R probably can't corner quite as well and doesn't have the top end, but out of the corners it flies and makes up for all of it's disadvantages in the corners and stuff.
 
Initially I thought the ISF would be good on tight courses, but that thing is really loose and its really hard to get the setup the way I want it. Hopefully I will have my car by tomorrow.
 
I didn't even try the mclaren, trying to get it down between the vette and sls.

Yep. I am a DS3 player and my fingers are lightning quick, but I still am no match for the McLaren.

I'm glad all of you are finding the idea of this series entertaining. Hopefully we'll get Phil Bell back, and then we'll have a field of 9. Nitro needs to get his PS3 internet working, Phil needs to loosen up his schedule, Stormy needs to unjam his PS3, and then Ash needs to finally pick out his dang car. :dopey:
 
I think this will be a lot of fun. FIA GT1 and GT3 Euro are in my top 5 favorite racing series, and I'm looking forward to some close racing. It will be nice once everyone commits and maybe we get 1 or 2 more entries.

I've been racing Gran Turismo since day 1 (14-15 years ago?) and have plenty of online racing experience but I've never had/taken the time to participate in a championship so I am very excited!

EDIT: Just wondering out loud if phil bell is going to go for it. He's a great racer... I raced with him before in the GT3 series. Hmm... I hope he can.

Shame you all can't make it, but thanks, Alien, for responding with an entry to my request! I've been inundated with P.M.s back about this... I'm feeling good about the series.

I won't be able to race for about a day as I am downloading GT Academy. That file is HUGE!

BTW, I think the car SPECs need work, by my eye it looks like some cars will have major advantages and disadvantages.
What track did you test on?
Good luck keeping up with it all, running a series is hard when you have that many cars to regulate.

Suzuka. Sorry to hear you can't make it, but it is becoming all to often of an answer. :scared: Don't feel bad, tho, you can join as a backup driver any time! :)

My many concern is the different transmissions and tire wear (if it's on).
The fax machine (MP4-12c) and the SLS look like they will have the biggest advantages based on my SLS testing in another series.
 
Thanks to gogatrs for entering our championship!

I really feel as though tons of great European drivers are being chucked out because of the time constraints. I feel like Division 2 should not go to Touring cars, but to a European/African/Asian series!

Division 2 is open for business! I'm PM'ing the others back to see the best overall time for everyone!
