I'm 19:41:XX.xxx into the 24hr Ring B-Spec Race and it's been 100% rain the entire time.

I'm also experiencing the Sports: Super Soft Anomaly too. But in a slight change from the same "glitch" at Le Mans there is a XJ13 that is still on racing rain tires and is in second place outpacing 2 Audi R8's and a BMWV12

Wow man you got screwed :/ ...

Is there a question? Nope.
Is there an answer for a often aksed question? Nope.

Pointless thread once again.

Yeah, and your point? Everyone's race will be different on this track. No two races will ever be the same. Some people will get a race with no rain, some just a sprinkle, and for others they get rain all the time.

jawehawk... sorry I spaced, question was is 100% rain for an entire race normal?

yzfmike, thanks for seeing past my retardedness

Accidental "retardedness" occurs alarmingly often, my friend. Happens to everyone.

No, it's not. Usually it rains for a portion of the race. I did some practice laps at Sarthe night, surface water 100%, weather changeability 10, time at race start 23:50, time progression 60. It rained all night and then it stopped raining when the sun came up.

I've never done an endurance race with weather change in it, though. But in races like 24 Hours of Nurburgring, 100% rain isn't normal. Usually it stops raining in the morning.

is 100% rain for an entire race normal?

Yes (or maybe). When I last raced at the Le Mans 24 Hrs (A-Spec), everything was fine on the first few hours, but after I suspended the race and started it again, it immediately rained (very heavily ), and it continued like this for the entire race (despite a few suspend/resumes, which changed nothing :grumpy:), until minutes after dawn, it started to stop raining, and I remember crossing the finish line with ~25% wetness on the track without fuel

So my prediction is, if you raced the 24Hr events consecutively, the weather will be the same throughout the race, but if you suspended, then things are going to be a bit messy :p
(This could be wrong though)
