Can't play the seasonals because of summer holidays?

Great, during this period of time, when people are enjoying summer holidays, and can't play GT5, PD comes and makes 1 week only seasonals.

How is PD to know you are on your summer vacation and why should they cater it to be revolving around you?

Not to be cruel here, but you cannot expect them to change everything just for you.

I'm sure many people will miss it because they are outside of their homes. Not just me.

Learn to pack the ps3 and gt5 and take em with you. :)
 
The seasonal event only takes 10 minutes to complete. Unless you're going to be away from your PS3 for a full week, you can find time to complete it. Do it before bed if you have to.

Quite the contrary, actually. "You can please [sic fool] some of the people all the time, all of the people some of the time, but never all the people all the time."

Marketing 101: Fill the largest psychographic need possible and right now that doesn't include your specific schedule.

Just because YOU are affected doesn't mean EVERYONE is affected.
 
I think its better like this especially in summer. It works out for me. 👍 if it doesn't work out for you, I'm sorry to hear that, but I don't think most people are gonna complain.
 
I actually did well enough at GT Academy 2012 to get all 40 Gold Medals. I've already recieved the Leaf and the Silvia and I'm due to get the other six cars and the outfit over the rest of the summer.

Oyashiro-sama, I personally don't mind the one-week availability of each of the challenges, and I like this idea. We'll probably see something like this next year. So that means I'm not worried at all about this. I'm not complaining; I'm just saying you should calm down a little and see things as they are. PD is making these events for the people who have (or are going to receive) the GT Academy prize cars. If you can't enter the event, then you didn't download GT Academy from the PlayStation Store, and/or you don't have any of the cars yet. My advice is to ignore these events if you can.

I'm having my holiday in September.
If you do ask to put the seasonals on hold can you ask him to skip September as well?



Oh almost forgot in December I'm going on a Christmas holiday so it would be nice too if ....

There are still plenty more seasonals and the normal time/drift trials still last 2 weeks. A large number of people are on holiday at any time.

You do realize that like half of the world is technically in Winter right now don't you? (Not me I'm in the Northeastern USA but still)

To be honest not trying to be mean, but I don't think anyone cares if it doesn't work out for you. Its still working out for everyone else,so..... I don't like when people complain about something thats only affecting them or just a couple of people.

I have 6 weeks but I don't take the whole summer off, I spread it out. I use a 4 for the summer (spread out) and the rest in the winter (snow days etc.) or when I need them. I also extend all my long weekends to make them longer.

So it's, not necessarily false, everyone's life is different.

I hope that you weren't directing this at me because I don't work. I'm disabled and can't work so if you were aiming your snide remark towards me, thanks. (sarcasm) I wish I could work and lead a normal life. Be thankful for your health kid, thats all I gotta say.

The problem I see with this is that you need specific cars that aren't easily available to race. I was unable to get gold for 8-5 which means I cant take part in the last event they will put out and my girlfriend isn't good enough to even get the leaf so she can't race at all.

Screw you PD!
 
You can borrow the cars of someone in your friendslist who has them. 👍

Great. I have a job and a family and GT make seasonals when I'm doing stuff. Damn them!

-I'm not complaining about the seasonals. I think summer should have more seasonals as people have more time to play.

-I'm complaining about the availability. Many people are away from home. I can take my PS3 with me, but I don't have Internet were I'm going, and I doubt my USB Mobile Phone Net (whatever you call it) will work with PS3.

-Until now, if I'm not wrong, all seasonals were available for 3 weeks. Why change it precisely now? It's July and August, it's not hard to guess that 80% of the people playing GT5 are having holidays.

-For those who are saying that I only think about myself, I believe you are the ones who have that problem. Since it's fine with you, you kids start saying bad things about others. As I said, I believe there will be many cases like mine. How would it hurt you guys to make the availability longer? Can you explain me why all the fuss?

-Some comments were so damn stupid and childish, that don't even deserve to be commented on. I just wish PD would make seasonals with special prizes every day and only available when you guys are having school, just so I could see you all crying (and in that case I wouldn't also be able to play as I work 8hours a day, but I would laugh a lot, believe me!). You are the ones who only thinking about yourselves!!! Wake up people.

The normal seasonals are still there, these are extra.

To be honest I think there are more GT-players that don's have a summer holiday.
In fact a lot of them aren't even kids, but working adults.

Sorry, not a kid. I'm 46. Furthermore, you want to talk about being mature? How about your last sentence in your opening post. That makes you sound like some spoiled 14 year old brat. Just because something doesn't go your way, you wanna cry and complain about it. Yea, real mature.
