I should be online for this tonight - hopefully. I'm at a family BBQ at lunchtime though so I'll have had a few beers through the day (hope that wont slow be down too much!) I'm getting married next Saturday so we've been so busy I've not even been on gran Turismo for the last couple of weeks never mind tested for this race. Argh!

Actually, that reminds me - this will be my last race for a few weeks I'm afraid. Next weekend we're away getting married then straight into honeymoon for three weeks. I'll be hoping to join in again though once I'm back, if you'll have me?!

First of a congratulations is in order, for getting married :cheers:No problem about missing a few weeks you have more important things to do, it would be a bit strange in the middle of your honeymoon to play gt5 online, it would make some people unhappy lol. Just let us know when you will be racing next :D.

Going by peoples times I've made a few changes to the beat that have hopefully slowed it down a bit so i should be running closer to 1:40's. Looking forward to the race!
 
Saw that the Cervo only makes 138bhp => Beat has 157bhp
Weight: 732ish for the Cervo => 689 for the Beat

=> There you have the reason why the Beat beats :D

For tonight I´ll reduce the specs to those and see where I finish.
 
I've done pretty much the same, I've also made my brakes a little weaker so i have brake a little earlier so that should slow me down a bit too.

About the Honda beats... I don't mind either way, for me it was fine as it was and I think that at lead the Daihatsus are running at the same level then the beats. Since the people diving the fastest cars till now are the most concerned, I have a proposition to cox box:

To do a pole so we can vote in some options:
(for example)
1. stay as it is or at each drivers will
2. reduce max pp to 450 or 445
3. penalty system: (example) 1st -6%HP 2nd -4%HP 3rd -2%HP any other position +1HP till you reach 100% HP

This is a suggestion, anyway it is being great to race with all you guys and again, I am perfectly fine as it is. Just because some of you want to reduce your own cars power, and I feel if I get in front of you it will taste as undeserved for me... don't know. My autozam was the slowest last week and after some tweaking is running now at the cervos times, and I think it still can improve in a more favorable track to it...

Sounds great however there is one issue, we can only have one poll I believe per thread, therefore without an admin the original poll cannot be deleted :grumpy:.
 
If you organize the question and post it we all can vote via the normal posting... we take your propositions and answer choosing one.

If it is not complicating things as they are now... for me it is fine as it is. I was very happy with my 8th place last week, it was a very nice fight with wackyhockeykid, and looking forward to see what I can do this week.

I am not bothered too, I think if people want to make there cars slower and more competitive it is up to them, there was no rule stating you can't do this.
 
I think just simply restricting the beats to the cervos specs is the best option... or just ban them before we get too far into the championship.

OK this is what will happen, the race will go ahead as normal with everyone's current car, after this race we will decide over the next few days what to do about the beat, therefore by the next race we will have a decision.
 
Hi, I might have a problem during the race... there is a delivery to arrive at my place and it can happen during the race, hopefully not. Should I retire - quit - or put in automatic if that happens? Sorry for that but it is something I can't control.

I knew the cuore would be fast today, but I had no idea that it would dominate.
 
It has almost 200hp at 460PP
