Valorian Drift Racing is strictly a drift racing team. Sister team and Drift League for LBR. Created simply to hang out, have fun and compete not only with one another but to also with other teams. My wife and I grew tired quickly of the way some founders ran their teams. There never seemed room for team input. It was there way or the highway. I'm not sure about anyone else.. but you don't spell "Team" me me me... So *V.D.R.* began, we also grew tired of the ignorance and attitudes towards either new people or what cars were being used. I don't believe it matters what you drift as long as you can do it (Though for tryouts FR must be used). The main goal of *V.D.R.* is not simply to just better ourselves as racers in general but to help those out there in need of help or even just a little friendly advice. Though some people seem beyond help at time we still try. All you have to do is ask and we are there. Don't be fooled by lower levels in some of the team members. Like myself not everyone sticks to beating the game then staying on track. (Myself having 3 profiles 2 are finished minus 2 or 3 trophies and this one a work in progress). I'm not saying we only bring in seasoned pro's though we may prefer that everyone has potential and room to expand. So all are welcome that are either willing to learn, teach, or just enjoy yourself. Also as a side note, those who are interested in racing as well as drifting we do place members on both teams.

img_team_event.jpg
We will be posting on here frequently to post upcoming events, tournaments, and tryout days for those interested in joining or even setting up a time for your team and ours to meet up.
We will also be adding to the already seemingly massive tuning forum. Don't worry we will not be posting more on the Mass tuning Guides, though with permission we may post links to them for help others may need. But we will be posting more tunes for others to try.. Most cars will be posted with Grip and Drift tunes in the same post preferably side by side so as to not have to make 2000 posts for 1200 tunes.
That's right.. I just said 1200 tunes.. or more...
Our goal as a group is top help others and we would like to also try to post a tune for each car. No matter how ridiculous that sounds.

Wow, this sounds perfect! I have been trying to start a drift club or even just a general club but everyone was so unreliable and always starting drama or something. Could never finish a drift day without some stupid stuff happening. And no the funny stupid stuff I mean the annoying, aggravating stupid stuff. I am interested in your drift team. But I must say I'm not the greatest drifter. If you wouldn't mind just taking a few mins and watch me run a few laps sometime that would be great! Just to see if I'm team worthy your not or how ever you want to say it. And I do try and help new people enter the drift would when they need it cause I know it's hard starting out on your own. Normally If they seem nice and aren't a troll or anything I gift them a car with a pre-tune drift setup and give them like a 20 min lesson on the basics then tell them to go practice & to feel free to ask for help anytime. I don't see why people gotta be an Ahole when someone is just simply asking for help. Thanks for your time & have a good one!

Well add me to your psn names JesseBoyd84. I will be one about 9pm central time tonight, we are doing recruits for LBR tonight, but if you can make it in We will fit you in no problem.
As for your question about being worthy or not. The only people in my book who are unworthy are ones who let arrogance guide them. Everyone has potential and if they are willing to realize that no matter how good they are, they could still improve, and are willing to teach what they know. Then they are worthy.

Alright, I'll add you. & thank you. I'm actually getting on right now. Cya on the track! & those words are very true!

The legendary 1983 Toyota Sprinter Trueno/ Corolla Levin AE86. I remember my fascination with this beauty of a car started with the Initial D series. Though not using it as a drifter I can still say beyond a doubt that it is totally underestimated by some and adored by others like myself. In Gran Turismo 1 i got this car early on and toyed with it more than I races it as it was one of the only cars in the game you could flip on its side with out tuning the suspension just to do it. Gran Turismo 2-4 it quickly became a frequent racer as I would push it far beyond its limits to outrun the faster muscle cars and what ever else I thought it could take on. It has been no different in Gran Turismo 5. With the experience gained from other tunes it was a fast build here.
Though as Nick would say the settings look a little lose, I can tell you beyond a doubt while it has a small amount of body roll, this car just barrels through the turns defying anything in its path as is the manor for these little tuners.

I found this tune to work well for drifting with Comfort Soft tires and even works well when car is at full tuned power. One thing I have found is though you can barrel head on into corners without having to worry about that back end coming out on you, you can get it out and easily keep full control without effort.
I will never consider my self a top racer but still post a time of 2:28.045 on Suzuka Circuit.
Tune used with all aids off.

The RX7 GT-X, the little rotary that knew it could. Even with some serious down tuning this little car will take on nearly anything you throw at it, then put it in it's place and move on without a second thought. When I first started driving RX7's it amazed me how competitive they really were. The more I drove it the faster it became one of my all time favorites next to the AE86. Though my experience with this car is not solely game based having owned and driven an 89 RX7 for a few year which in that time it saw more than its fair share of the back road races. The little nimble Rx7 took everything with the ease of a champion.
Here in GT5 though PolyPhony actually underestimated this little car so much that the down tuned its performance points drastically. Though since it still handles the same.. it will still smoke the 500pp competition with its merger 454pp. I just hope you all enjoy it half as much as I have.

Still no internet, am using 4g at the moment. Add NICKABRICKS on PSN and tell him you wish to try out for VDR. He is handling things while my internet is down sorry.
Also you can try Prof_Fuzz_Fuzz as well

Ah, alright. I did not know your Internet was down. I will shoot them a message as soon as I get home for sure.

No need to apologies. & I messaged them and they watched me drift & I made it! Just by a smudge bit I think lol. I'll shoot you a FR to night with further info also.
