What is your opinion on 3000hp Ek 97 civic?

i don't see any problems with the car being available. If online lobby hosts don't like it being used they can just set a bhp limit or kick the person in the civic. It's not the end of the world. I'm sure the novelty will ware off soon anyway...

I think it's pretty awesome. It's fun to play with, and a new tuning challenge.

I've heard rumors that there is an 800hp NSX out there somewhere. Can anyone confirm of this is true, or BS? If its real, I'd kill to get my hands on one :)

There most likely is considering I saw a modded 307 Peugeot today.

I think that setting the PP limit to somewhere in the low 700s will solve the too-much-civics-in-drag-rooms problem. Not sure. Or set the hp limit at 1100 or so.

I too think it is a pretty cool concept but the the thing is that we should take this as a red flag. This is a hack in the game that's readily available to all maner of scrub and I would hate to see gt5 become as broken as say BF3 with the amount of hacking and glitching I mean whats next 3000hp gtr with the power to kill the redbulls...?

the hacked ek is actually faster than a stock redbull
 
saw a few other hacked cars today, a G37, delorean, Peugeot, and gtr. I have to say, the "120,000 Hp" delorean is insanely fast.
 
i got that redbull, going to get a kart and i think Peugot (spelling?) 307. only issue is when i deleted my patch data the data corrupted and wont delete yet at the moment im reinstalling from 1.05 to 2.11. not sure what happend.

I'm going to do a little comparison here between another game I play often which is Socom Confrontation, which if anyone plays, knows that it's a disgrace to be a hacker and I'd say a third of the remaining community does hack.

Here's my comparison that brings up a problem I foresee. In Socom, you can get into a clean room still, yet they're very hard to find, and if you're on the winning team, you're a cheater. I'd say that in the rare clean rooms, 8 times out of 10 the losing team will call someone a cheater. I can definitely see this happening in GT5 that if you smoke some people because your just plain better, you'll get called out saying you have a hacked car.

People don't like using. Anytime hackers come into games, it gives the losers another excuse. That's the only problem I have with the hacked cars.

Yeah for sure:) and we should get a room going some time for some dirty hacked X racing, with one redbull going backwards just to mix it up. We can rotate redbull. I bet it will be fun, boost on high. We're talking 500mph+ smashing crazy fun.
 
500 mph? i think we can crank 650 out of them XD. i want to run the 5000 hp 307 against the 3000 hp civic. think it would be very interesting.
 
I don't have a problem with people driving them offline or in private lobbies with friends, but bring them into open competitive lobbies and things may get bad. People will complain about too many hacked cars in their lobbies, etc.

I don't have any, but was able to drive some. My favorite is definitely the x2010. Got up to 830+mph on La Sarthe's Mulsanne. I wish I had SSRX, probably could've maxed it out..
