Hey guys, my sincere apologies if this problem has already been resolved.

Anyways, I recently downloaded an MP3 file, and imported it into my PS3. (This isn't new to me since I've been importing music since last year.)

My old tracks are playing in-game, however, my newly downloaded tracks aren't playing in GT5. The PS3 plays it nicely, but the game doesn't. I always get a notification saying "Music Error: There are no tracks that can be played."

Has anyone encountered a problem like this? Any response would greatly help! 👍

I have the same exact problem. I wish I could tell you I have a solution, but I don't. :guilty:

EDIT: I actually just remembered what the solution to the problem is if your music is from iTunes (I googled it a long time ago). Anyhow, iTunes uses M4P and AAC format for its songs and GT5 requires MP3 files. So just convert the file type from M4P/AAC to MP3. I think you can do this by burning the iTunes files onto a blank CD, although I'm not totally sure. Also, that seems kinda time-consuming, which is why I haven't done it for my music yet.

I have been using the userBMG since day 1 and that error pops up from time to time - usually finishing or starting a race and tripping into the menu music sorts it out. The BMG has never been entirely stable.

Its got to be a standard mp3 file, just double check on your pc

Yes, it's in MP3 format. Anyways, I've resolved it. I deleted every track on my Ps3, and re-uploaded it.
