It came from a failed colour edit!!! I just couldn't balance the colours right, it looked plastic and still. So I wacked it through a retro b/w filter, brought the contrast down and there we have it.

The location is one of the sweeping left-handers in Chamonix-main - there's a wide angle panoramic shot waiting to be had there with those balloons in the distance:tup:

That was exactly the same problem I had with the C4 pic, the orange plastic fence looked awful, so I tried the extreme monochrome filter and a few adjustments later I had the result.👍
