Damage in GT5 as a downloadable content - good or bad?

Seeing as it wasnt mentioned in Amar's messages, what if PD decides to have damage as a DLC seeing as some welcome it while others dont? Although online races will be seperated due to some who has damage while others dont, do you think its a good practice if PD decides to go this route?
 
Well chances are if it's set up as DLC it will probably be free in the form of an update.
 
I'll break this bubble: If it doesnt show up on release, you are NOT getting damage. No sources but I would bet my ps3 on it.

Just because it wasn't in Amar's post, doesn't mean there isn't a chance for it to be in the game to begin with. There are probably MANY things that are going to be in GT5 that weren't mentioned in his post.

But to answer your question, I'll take it anyway I can get it I guess...preferably at release, but If we don't get it, oh well I'll live.
 
Bad, If it's gonna cost money then no, otherwise it would just be a useless DLC if it's free just taking up space on the playstation store. And by the way, since there already is a dlc thread, this might get closed soon.

Is it because it looks as if this was indirectly aimed at your thread? This is strictly a damage downloadable content thread, aimed towards people's opinion on whats their take if damage is optional in GT5, nothing else.
 
Damage should be with FULL game.. not as DL.. but hey, if it wont be in day one.. sure DLC for damage is always welcome..

But what a pity would that be to wait for DLC?
 
And if damage is DLC, how would PD program online races with damage people against non damage?

That's assuming that damage will be part of online too... :scared:

but, i dont what we should think. do u think that we can expect a damage model? i´am not sure. maybe they dropped the project.
 
Yes, it should be with the full game. But if it's offered as DLC, it's going to be pretty much bullet proof, so I expect everyone would be happy with it. And if you don't have the bandwidth to download it, it's a pretty safe bet you won't be racing online anyway.
 
It´s ok if we get damage as a DLC if they can bring the game out earlier then... If we got to wait another 2 years for GT while damage is making problems for PD then i don´t need damage...
 
i think damage is too big a feature to be DLC. they should just add damage to the game and allow us to turn it of.

IMO if it doesn't make it in the full initial release it wont be added later, it is something that will effect GT mode too much. For a game of GT5's scale it is really a foundation feature (not patched in later) but franky if it doesn't make it, I don't care.

You don't care for damage or GT5, if it doesn't make it?
 
I just want and am hoping for so bad mechcanical damage for offline not just online then it would be fine and thats all i want and feel that is missing.

I am at level 26 and maybe just maybe at level 40 the mech damage will come but i dont know for sure just hoping one way or another its there or coming soon.
