GT Academy Europe Free Car

My questions regard the GT-R you obtain for participating in the GT Academy Europe Time Trials:

I have two questions:

  1. Is this car tradeable?
  2. Do you get a special code to obtain this car?
The reason I ask is that I would like one of these to add to my garage.

2. I'm not sure. My bro did this on my account. All I know is that you just have to register and you get it, no need to race.

2. no code required, just do one lap of the gt academy seasonal event and it’s in your deliveries :)

On a side note, I think it looks better than the one for golding the s licence and is a little easier to get
 
Did they give out a free car for the US Academy?

EDIT: Anybody know is this car is locked to the PAL version?
 
don't know if its locked but, maybe you could move to a qualifying area and update your PSN account info. Then register for the GT Academy… then move back again ;)

Think that might be a little out of the budget. But like a buck or two. But what would stop me from *insert a horrible forum word here called cheating* the system and claiming a UK address to just get the car? Wondering if any other person from outside the limited countries has tried this.
 
Can you go to your acct settings, change your address, get the car, then change your address back? If so, anyone got a european city with matching area code lol?

its region locked..just like X-mas when japan got the free chromelines... this is europe only

the GT Academy Europe wont show up on your system, just the the GT Academy USA didnt show up on our systems...you need to have a European account & be in Europe.

Not true, I have a PSN account from when I lived in London and the GT Academy still shows up for me, even though I am now in Brazil. Don't know about getting the car, though.

Really… I never thought of that ;) lol I guess I should have spelled that out in my post :)

I know of several guys online who have incorrect flags/region identifiers because they entered incorrect address info. US flags but located in the UK etc. and their accounts still work. I’m in the UK so I can’t test it but someone outside the qualifying areas should try… at least with a new account. Also with an NTSC system.
