Hey All, Was just going back to my events and can't complete the 15 car overtake lap with the Honda Integra (B-CLASS 6), any ideas please?

I can manage 6th place... shameful i know lol.

Have tried AUTO and MANUAL gearing just cant seem to pass the majority to win.

Advice would be grateful.

I was struggling as well. In the end I managed 3rd with auto gears on pro setting. To be honest I think it's just down to drafting the cars in front of you and making sure you don't hit anybody or anything. Good luck mate.

Once you've done it once it's actually not that hard. You need to slingshot past the AI cars by drafting them and under no circumstances drive into the back of one. Keep smooth, don't swerve round a car too sharply, that will slow you down more than pullin gour smoothly.

I had the same problem, It took me like 20 + races, finally I finished in 3rd.
That race was the whole reason I joined this forum so I could find out how to beat it.

This race is also giving me problems. I've accumulated around 70,000 in credits playing this race over and over. I'm going to call it a night and try again tomorrow.

I'm currently playing on Professional physics with everything else turned off. The best I did was a 4th place but now I can't seem to get any better than 6th.

Frustrating indeed.

I got 3rd place on my 2nd or 3rd try -professional physics, no aids, with a wheel. It's tough. The closest I've come to gold is 1.9 seconds out.

To gauge how well you are doing, you need to be completely past the blue ford focus and black VW when you get to the bridge to have a chance of completion. Then, on the left before the tunnel, you need to get by the silver Mazda.

It took me 2 days to get it done. Like, it's been said, draft as much as possible, particularly on the first straight/turn. At the vry minimum, you should be able to overtake the 147/Z4/Brera by the end of the first curve. Also, be careful not to get on the grass brcause you won't be able to make up for it.

After trying over and over, I eventually managed 3rd place once. BTW, I did it on standard physics and with TCS set at 5. It's too damn hard on professional.

im struggling with the C 3 event. ( cappuchino car)

I know im suppose to draft but the cars pull away for me to draft.

For Daytona Oval, you must stay on the throttle the entire time to have a chance. Any time you have a car in front of you, you need to be drafting it as closely as possible. Swing out at the last possible second to make the pass and try to get back in line behind the next car as quickly as you can. Never ram another car, and try to pass on the inside whenever possible. You have to pass the leader on the inside. You won't have enough time to go high.

For the Cappucino race, make sure to use a manual gearbox, as the auto won't ever go into 5th gear unless another car rams into the back of you in a straightaway. Any "help" you can get from approaching vehicles will certainly make getting a gold time much easier.

I ran into the same frustration trying to complete the B class integra overtake.
I cleared all the B class but still had this integra overtake to do.
After nearly 10-15 tries the best I could muster was a 6th.
Then I took a look on the internet at some guys who posted their runs on youtube.
Basically, follow the driving line as close as possible which includes drafting.
On the first turn, you'll pass a bunch up high. The two small turns before the tunnel, turn inside hard. Same on the last turn, turn inside and then get behind the cars to draft to the finish. After seeing someone do it, my first try with this I managed a 3rd...phew!

Good luck!

I got to the 2nd place at first try, but I finally beat it after 15 times or so. My little tips for you is to remember the AI car behaviour, and try to find the best line to slingshot. Little wall riding on the last corner can help catching the 2nd place AI. Very close yet very exciting. Probably the most enjoyable event so far.

Playing online with bunch of idiots actually helps improving my slipstream skills

Funny, I cleared it on my 1st attempt. I did however wall ride and play a little bumper cars.

Turn off ASM.
Bounce off the wall before the bridge.
Cut to the right of the other cars just after the bridge.

Around here at best we would be ashamed to admit it and many would call that cheating. I mean when you get to S-8 (?) bouncing off the walls gets a penalty so you need to know how to do it for later.

I did all the 'one lap overtakers' last night as a holiday away from the Eiger. B-6 was not difficult. All aids off + MT + std physics :guilty: Just draft and drive a good line, staying on the inside of each bend and getting clean exits. First go I came second by 0.002 and realised I had to get in front of a group before the right after the bridge. With a bit more commitment into turn 2 I managed it and was a close 3rd entering the last turn, went on to win by 0.599s. I wish I had saved it, the lap was sooooo clean.

Put all the driving physics on pro, take off the driving aid,put traction control on 6 and then draft as many cars as possible, over taking from the outside and then more drafting/overtaking youll get it in the end even though its tricky.
