GT5:P - no headset capability, no lobby to enter, no friends list = EPIC FAIL?!

Or maybe it's because I just started the game, bought an Integra and jumped into the beginner races online(high speed ring and daytona). Maybe it's a combo of all. After playing Forza 2 online I think having a setup similar to that is required for online racing games. There's a local forum I'm on an about 6 to 8 jump online and we have a blast doing drag races and races from a roll. We all have headsets so communication is no issue and we have clean races also. We also run into other clean racers as well which extends the replay value. If there's no implementation of anything of the sort online seems headed to a disaster. I remember playing Need for Speed Undergound 2 on PS2 and the rooms my friends and myself made were pretty much no mic, no game. This would weed out those that weren't there to race clean or up to whatever else was going on(I.E. drag races, tag, etc.). I love the Gran Turismo series and is understandable why online was scrapped from GT4. Now they have a chance to make up for that on the PS3 and would be a shame to dissapoint.

You are aware of what Prologue is, aren't you? It is an advanced demo. All of the features you would like to see will (probably) be in GT5.

We already have loads of threads about the issues that Prologue has with online play, so we do not need another one.
