Hello Driver's with Nitro_2005 OK I'm going to get this one updated for you all. So if you have a new time post it.

Tsukuba Super Lap Challenge

This is the all-new Tsukuba Super Lap Challenge! Inspired by Hot Version and Best Motoring, this challenge pits your tuning and driving skills to the test. The race is on to find the fastest Japanese sports car around the fast and technical Tsukuba Circuit. Can you be the fastest?

Rules

Super Laps to be done in GT Mode Free Run
Full tuning allowed
No N.O.S
Racing Tyres only
Japanese cars only (Silvias, RX-7s, GT-Rs, Evos, WRXs, etc.)
Tuning cars ARE allowed
NO cars older than 1989
No race cars or road versions of race cars (e.g. R390 GT1 Road Car, etc.)

Let the challenge begin AGAIN!

Now we had chasses for all cars made in ASIA. Plus one for USA and EURO cars.

I could possibly go maybe 0.2secs faster if I fully pushed so I may try another day so for now thats my best I can manage.
 
I think you should open this up to more than just Japanese cars (Best Motoring does), and allow older cars and road versions of race cars; a street-legal car is a street-legal car. It'd attract a lot more interest, especially since the top cars are all the same few.

CyborgGT Htat's sounds like a good update to the challenge. So I will added a US, EU, and all Asia chasses.
 
Very nice. I'll get to work on a non-JP Tsukuba tune, and try to break 48 seconds.


*EDIT* - Well, here it is finally:

If you need photographic proof, I'll post it. I'll keep trying to improve it now and then too, but it's not the most stable of cars when too much power is added. Impressive time with your Esprit, btw. The first foreign car up and it demolishes anything set by the Japanese! I think I'll try out some American muscle next.

I remembered an RX-8 tune I started a while back and decided to finish it, making it a dedicated Tsukuba car. I'm positive with its current settings it can go faster, but I just can't quite get that perfect lap in. Anyway, it's almost 2 seconds off appie17's time:

I'm wondering if you guy's are useing R5 race tires? If that's the case I'm going to rerun my TT.
 
I use R3s. Even my RX-8, which is my only car tuned specifically for this track, had 'em.

hey Paulie, I will do some weight reduction to it if you want me to? My SHO is a man beast :) Oh and it's stock gearing on the six speed.:crazy:
 
Doesn't a 3000GT have 800-900hp and AWD in a 2 door coupe?:lol: With R5 tyres and a wing understeer can't be that bad, yet your SHO is still faster.:sly:

I don't know let's see. Driver as a lot to do with it. Not a lot of people can handle 800-900hp. I'm on R-5 tires with strong brakes. And in my sig is the car on R3 tires and time. I'm not lieing about the time. I will test out the 3000GT too.

Paulie - I just did a quick set-up on for the 3000GT MR and ran a 47.244. With more tunning it will go faster.

'04 Mercedes SL 65 AMG (R230): 0:53:234 is as fast as i'm getting today (the limits of what the driver is capable of :()
'02 Audi RS 6 Avant: 0:57:203 even with me at the helm I thought I could do better than that
'00 Tommy Kaira ZZII: 0:52:409 its capable of a lot more in the right hands and with R5s instead of R3s

That's more like it.:lol: I wouldn't mind seeing more US cars in this, I'm sure the 4th Gen Camaro SS and Pontiac GTO (although Monaro will probably be faster) could do quite well. Not to mention the C5 Z06 could be very good.:) (All on R5 tyres and max power, with a GT Wing of course)
