Moving off the track during rolling start:

When beginning the race from the rolling start, it is important that you move off the racing line in a manner that doesn't interfere with those who are competing in the public race. Please practice steering off the racing line, to be sure you are comfortable with it prior to your actual race.

Grid Positions - Division 1-3 Event:

Due to the banking on the main race track, it will be necessary to begin the race from the pit lane. When steering off the racing line at the beginning of the race, cross over the grass on track side left and drive into the pit lane. The grid positions for the start of the race are the light colored concrete patches, approximately halfway down pit lane. Once you've steered onto pit lane, turn around drive in reverse to your assigned grid position.

During the race start only (Not during pit stops) both drivers are to drive out the end of the pit lane, without using the exit road, as shown in the picture below. Each driver has rights to their side of the track, cornering rights as detailed in the GTP OLR Racing Rules must be observed.

  • It is the responsibility of all driver pairings to initially govern themselves in regard to any racing disputes.
  • If any racing dispute cannot be resolved then it is the responsibility of both parties to contact the Race Stewards individually by following the race dispute procedure below.
  • All disputes must be conducted in a gentlemanly manner and in private.
  • The drivers may, at their own discretion, ask another GTP_Tagged driver to act as a 3rd party observer during their race. The drivers would need to mutually agree upon this, and it is not a requirement.

All unresolved racing disputes must follow this procedure:

  • Please note the extended time frame to help better accommodate pairings for this important championship round. The gold drivers will be waiting on the bronze and silver drivers to complete their initial race. And all races MUST be complete before the deadline.
  • Keep in mind that an online event update is likely to occur the evening of the deadline (As it has on the last Thursday of every month, going back to October). Don't leave your race until the last minute and risk not being able to run due to the update.
  • If you are unable to make contact with the driver you are paired against, PM me (EDK) with the details, at least 48 hours prior to the event deadline.
  • Failure to agree a date & time (Or make contact according to the procedure above) before the deadline will result in disqualification.
