My wife got my addicted to a rediculously stupid, time sucking game, Mafia Wars click based RPG on facebook. Now I'm faced with needing more members in my Mafia. If you're on facebook, get this app and become my friend (just for the game, I don't really want to be your friend) and lets dominate Mafia wars with 500+ members. :D

I am on Mafia wars but ignore it alot I have 3 friends + 5 handed by the Godfather, need 9 for cool gifts though
 
I'd join you but my bloody Facebook acc got disabled with absolutely zero explanation from them... And I can receive but not send e-mail from the address I used for my account so I can't contact them (or so they say). Fail.
 
I played this for the 4 weeks of my Easter holiday... Then re-discovered life!

I have a friend or two who is at ~lvl 170 :lol:
 
I play it... it's kind a stupid game but i can't let it without playing, it's addictive...
i can't join you mafia beucause i'm in a mafia with some cousins, but i can add you as friend and see what happens...

I know FB used to disable people if they weren't in a network for 6 months or so. Have you tried making a Gmail account and using that to reregister?

I have my mafia going, but I'm also in other mafia's as well. I think you can be in more than, but not a 100% sure on that.
 
Update: We are sending out energy packs daily and are still accepting members in our mafia.
 
I have Mafia wars on my iphone, I would assume the two talk to each other? I cam definitely up for being added.

FYI on a little "energy pack" nuance that took me awhile to figure out, but maybe it is just because I am dense, is that the 25% energy increase is actually an 125% increase calculated against your max energy, not your current energy. So what I mean is this, let's say your current energy is at 4 out of a possible 100 when you use the energy pack. The result will actually be that your energy is raised to 125 (or 125% of 100) and not 5 (25% of your current energy + your current energy). Therefore you are better off letting your energy fall all the way down to zero before taking the energy pack.

I got suckered in as well. I'm now pushing level 200 having recently finished off the Cuba missions and now I'm looking to finish off New York. I'll rest once I've knocked that one over ...
 
Since people are talking about FB games, I want to ask all of you what games apart from Mafia Wars do you guys play on there?? We could make ourselves a little GTP Registry of facebook players. I'll start off with a list of games that I play and let us know what you guys get into.

I play the following on there:
*Bejeweled Blitz
*Restaurant City
*FARKLE (dice game)
*VDream Racing (build your virtual car and race others, I have an 800hp+ Supra. ;))
*Pool Master

And I know heaps of people who love to play the farming games (FarmTown, FarmVille, Farm Pals).

So, what else do you guys play on Facebook??
 
I had the Mafia Wars counterpart Pirates! going for a while, but never got into it. And I played The Ultimate Hitman, until I realised they didn't update it. I used to play The Dot Game as well, but all my friends realised I was too good and so refused to play me. Right now, I'm getting into Texas Hold'em Poker, but I'm not very good and I don't like playing it on the college computers.
 
I'm playing Vdream Racing on Facebook. I really recommend you this game. You can build your own cars, with engine upgrades, visual parts, etc. There are constant updates. I play it since 2008 and it is really addicting.

It would be nice to have a GTPlanet users crew in Vdream.

Yes I know, those Facebook games are addicting :dopey:
