Do a move across country, I'm being forced to sell my 81 Malibu.. but, while it has me upset, I've been looking at cars for sale in the area that I'm moving to.

Here's what I've found so far.

The last three don't have pictures.. but the first three do. I don't want something as a daily driver, because I'm getting a 94' GMC Sierra for that. I just want something old that I can fix up, and then cruise in.. anybody think any of those are good?

I like the Pontiac, and the Nova in 2nd place. I'd get rid of the 2spd gearbox though.

Oh, I'd get rid of that and the motor very quickly.. I'm seriously thinking about the Nova more then any.. I've always loved that year too, due to this particular car

My old neighbor had that same exact Pontiac - well at least year/model. So I can definitely atest to that for a nice cruiser.

Also the 1986 Fleetwood peaks my interest too. If only there were a picture. It is a lot newer - so perhaps parts for it wouldn't be hard to find or too pricey. If done up right, it could have some staggering cruise potential. Nothin wrong with a class act like a Cadillac :D

True to that. I'm seriously debating the Nova, Pontiac or the Caddy. They're all pretty sweet cars, plus when done up right they can be just sick.

Is the Pontiac and Cadillac FWD or RWD? The occasional burnout on track cruises or something is more fun with RWD.:sly:

RWD. The Pontiac is also a coupe.

The Cadillac is FWD.

When I picture you, you strike me as the guy who'd buy a nova out of those choices. I don't why, I just do

Haha. I might, it's down the Pontiac or the Nova now.. It's a tough choice too..

Personally, I'd go with the Pontiac or the Ford Unibody truck.

The Pontiac, it's an orphan now which makes it cooler, and it strikes me as something more different to a Nova, and it's RWD.

Just messaged the guy, and asked for more pics. when he sends them, I'll have a definite choice....
