I hope it's properly based on WRC, more realistic to it, than Dirt 2. That game just screams "cheese" at me.
 
It's been far too long a wait....

Lets hope Black Bean can make the transition from two wheel to four wheel smoothly. Very exciting nonetheless, especialy for us yanks who get terrible coverage of the WRC, and can count on one hand the number of good rally games released to the states.

They've started showing the WRC highlights show on HD Theatre, barring you get that station. I watched the Rally Ireland highlights last night and it was awesome!

About the game, it would be sweet to have another WRC game. I loved the one that came on the PS2 some years ago.
 
Milestone already did Superstars V8 Racing. And the old Screamer series.

BLack Bean did the recently released V8 Superstars based on the Italian V8 touring car series, demo on XBL if you have it. Good graphics very nice "sim" physics (considering its their first attempt) good AI and challenging racing.
Based on this I am pretty optimistic for a reasonably good rally sim. Was very suprised to hear about this considering GT5 trailer and stuff but quite frankly I am glad they are doing a sole WRC game.
