In the garage & dealer car selection screen, what about an option to start the engine.Could use the start button on the DS3 or another on your wheel.Would be great listening to it & to hear how the engine is running ( for a misfire ).Could prove useful, when tuning.Any other ideas, new or
used you can think of, put them here if you like.

I've noticed you have cool ideas, but I think this is unnecessary. You got to think that many other things come before this idea in the eyes of PD and Kazunori. But sure, it would be interesting to have an option to hear the car's engine in full stride.
 
Yeah i know they need to get the audio perfected & graphics need to be bug free & running properly first.Maybe could have this as an update in the future.

when I'm bored I always just stop at a quiet place on a track, turn up the stereo, and just rev what ever car I happened to be driving

Also I love that game! PR FTW! of course in Arcade racers! haha
 
Also before you start the engine, you are transported to a menu with all the fully functioning in car dials working with options to change the dashboard display before driving/racing.So could drive a Mercedes S class with night vision on.

As I've said before, the great appeal of the game is the graphics engine, so I would like just to view my cars from a user-controlled camera, but the engine sounds in gt are not even close to reality. So, no.
 
The graphics isn't the only appeal Dan_.I prefer your idea about roaming cameras.

This is GT5, we don´t get good sounds m8 ;)

If you have an electric screw gun at home, this will do.

Just change the rpm´s depending on what car you want to listen to :P
 
khm is an onomatopoeia for the sound when you clear your throat...maybe you'd say *cough* or something. ;) And yes, I'd love it if the dealerships were like in TDU, that was awesome...it'll be even better in TDU2, and for GT5, we'll see...

Also could put cars on a rolling road, for bhp & torque readings.

They did that with Juiced, and also with NFSU2 with the added feature of tuning your fuel maps, and that was one of the best features of the whole NFS series.

Imagine all the procedures of starting a 60's Ferrari 330 P3/4 up & a Ford GT43 too.Now that would be cool, hearing the fuel pump priming the carburettors with fuel.Master switch on check, ignition on check, fuel pump primed check, START her up & a howling reverberating v12 melody is heard for miles around check.
 
Something else that maybe would benefit GT5, is not having to take a car to the dealers all the time ( very time consuming ), for buying the new parts.Just leave the car at your garage, and wait for delivery from them.Fit the parts yourself, maybe with a tutorial or something to show us.Basically you could go in to the dealers, & are given a parts list with price/info by each of the parts.Obviously for strengthening the shell etc, you take it wherever.Would be nice to choose the option.What you could do is select the car you want to buy parts for, from your garage.Lists of remaining parts are shown & you tick what you want to buy simple.These are then delivered to you with a cr charge, depending on the amount you buy.
