Logitech G27 clunk, is it normal?

Just curious if anyone else has this issue with the G27 or is it not an issue at all.

It's normal, I mentioned the exact same "clunk" on my brand new G27 in the G25 vs G27 thread.

The sound is nothing more than the tolerance (free play) in the force feedback reduction gears.

Yea I seen you mentioned it, I even quoted you and replied. Just wanted to get a few other's opinions and put up a video. I tried playing a few demos on the computer, LFS and Rfactor and it was doing it really badly. Sure is rather annoying but I guess it beats the constant whine of other logitech wheels.

Ive got the clunk. Its the worst in Dirt 2. When the feedback imputs were turned all the way up it was so loud I had to turn them down. It didnt ruin the game, but it wasnt the same.

Other than the noise it feels awesome with Dirt 2. Dirt 2 on the G27 is the most fun I have had racing with a wheel!

err mine is dooing this now. only noticeable when im on gravel surface when there is a lot of loose tire grip.

but its only dooing it when im counter steering to the right.

busted ? please advice i got it a month ago.
