Made it to 2nd overall in my country...pretty good after the first day...👍

I agree, it's even more fun if you first drive with the stock version for a while and then switch to the tuned version.
 
Indeed,feels like the difference between stock and tuned(also tyres)is bigger than in prologue....

WOW solar system has done a stunning time, thats like 5th fastest out of everyone, personally i think the tyre noise is unrealistic to be honest.
 
Yes Solar is very fast...but what does the tyre noise has to do with that???...

@ spy, you were talking about tyres.... its sooo noisy with normal 370z on the penaltimate turn, i know its a tight turn but seems abit unrealistic to me.
 
I haven't heard the demo yet, but does it compare to this?

So does anyone know when this will hit the US? I see some times posted already, but still don't see it in the PS store.

Also, watching all these videos and looking at pictures, I just can't get over that the clock always shows 5:32...seems like with working gauges and what not it would be trivial to have a working clock that used your system time. oh well...still can't wait to play.

Finally! The competition demo is up on the PS Store.
Edit: As of 7pm mountain time/9pm eastern.

Edit 2: The lap times are just pouring right on in on the ranking page, and I am still downloading!

Edit 3: I really should have waited until after my networking final tomorrow to install this....

I have PM Jordan this evening. I like Spy's idea for the leader boards. However, I want to take it to the next level. Having the leader boards inside the forums without having to load a link.

If Jordan approves my idea, then we can Turn this thread into a sticky and provide leader boards for all Regions and a track map.

I have started a map, tell me what you think?

 
I wonder if Denmark/Finland/Norway/Sweden is considered one country in the competition as well.

in the game rankings i am 17th overall but going to the GT 5 website im am not even listed wtf is up with that
 
I downloaded a Japanese version last night out of impatience, now I'm not showing on the leaderboards..... deleted, downloading NA now, we'll see....
