Highly anticipating this album. The first single although not an instant hit has definitely grown on me. Opinions anyone?

Don't really like that song much at all and I was expecting it to be one of the better ones.

I'll still listen to the album but probably won't be buying it anytime soon.

Listened to the album mix and it sounds like a really solid album. Rhinestone Eyes is fantastic. Can't wait.

Try cloud of unknowing. My favorite so far 👍

As did I. However, my conclusion is that it sucks. It sounds like a compilation of thrown-out verses and melodies. Like a scrap album.

Listened to the entire album a few days ago. I heard maybe 2 or 3 decent songs.

The album sucked badly. I love their previous stuff and I was expecting a bunch of awesome, and it just failed to deliver.

I gave it a few listens but can't really find a single song that gets my attention, plus for the most part there's next-to-no actual Gorillaz music, it's all collaborations which are all too common in music nowadays. What happened to making music on your own?
I'll be giving the album a few more plays but I can't say it's going to grow on me at all, it's just all too lacking so there's no big, likeable, recognisable songs like Dirty Harry, Feel Good Inc, El Manana etc from the last album.

Going to see the band perform in an irish club in Birmingham on friday. Should be good.
