GT5 Retail Demo in the UK?

Just thought I would let everyone know (hope it's not a repost :nervous:) that the GT5 demo is here in the UK, inside the Nissan Inovation stand at the O2 Arena in London.

Appears to be the same demo that's in Best Buy stores around the US, with a selection of approx 10 cars and 5 or 6 tracks including Rome and the Nurburgring.

I've attached a few pics below, and I'll try and get a few more later today/tomorrow.

A guy I spoke to in my local GAME said they will be getting the demo soon, bug couldn't say when exactly. I guess the fact that it exists anywhere is proof enough that the UK would get it eventually. Thing is though, it brings nothing new to the party, so here's hoping that TGS delivers a few more surprises.

Brilliant! A sign of things to come around the UK & Ireland i hope.

Although it brings nothing new, its still something many people have not had the chance to try, and that alone is worth the effort.
Thanks for the tip. Now, how cheap is a flight to London. :)

Just a polite request more than anything. Please don't go quoting multiple images like that when they are just a few posts above, and in this case, part of the original post.
 
That's great news!! hopefully they bring it to Milton Keynes :D, i did check my local game stores such as Gamestation and HMV but the only demos out at the moment were HAWX 2 and Naughty Bear! :lol:
 
A best buy opens near me on Friday, maybe they'll get the demo?

I wondered when that was opening, think I'll be paying it a lunchtime visit :)
 
How long can i play this in game if its coming there before a big security guard taps me on the sholder and escorts me out the store?
 
If the demo comes more coman in the Uk i bet it'll be mostley in the big places like, Bull Ring, Trafford Center etc and loads of places in London.
I dout my local came will get it, if it does it'll probaly be when the games out.

How far are you from there? If you got there before me it could save me a trip as its a good 4 mile cycle from me haha.
 
I'm off to silverstone this weekend for the renault world series .I know it's a long shot but I was hoping the demo might show it's face

I'm bringing my iPhone so if theres anything I'll post back some juicy info

Edit: keep an eye out for me ,I'll be the one frying bacon and egg with 4 crates of budweiser next to me LOL

Thanks for the info GTP_Mav3r1cK! But can i ask are they using pads or wheels and how many machines do they have running.

Indeed and "alright der laa!" ;)

I work in Knowsley so it's only a 10 min drive so I'll probably head over on my lunch to check it out, I'll post back here either way about the demo if I go :)
 
I've just been to an extremely busy Best Buy in Aintree and they don't have a GT5 demo. I asked the Best Buy and Sony bods standing by the (awesome) Move demo if they are expecting a GT5 demo soon and they assume they'll be getting one nearer the 3rd November release date so make of that what you will.
