Info on PAL & NTSC racing together or not in GT5?

Hi, sorry if I have missed this, I couldn't find info on it after a quick search- has there been any news released about whether or not PAL & NTSC will be able to race together in GT5 (on events not marked as world events, or in private events)?

Been wondering this too. Seemed like none of the leaked videos showed any online info.

There was no mentioned restriction on what friends you could have in your lounge and I think it said everyone in your lounge could race together:

I can't see why not. The only problem with having online races between those in Europe & US is the higher ping between us possibly causing a few lag issues.

Personally im more concerned that in GT5P the performance of a few cars was different between GT5P versions. Some people never noticed this but I did because I spend much of my time hotlapping. What used to happen is these few cars used to accelerate quicker!!

P.S the cars in question were the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
