Hello everyone!

Many years ago, in a galaxy far far away, a GTP member called Bee ran these awards for 4 consecutive years.

However, this Bee has flown the hive and on his search for pollen has left a gap in which one noble member must fill. Unfortunately, this noble member was busy. So i'll do it.

So after a sabbatical , I welcome you to the 5th GTP Formula One Awards.

It means people won't just vote their favourite driver only and give a little better representation. Note that in some circumstances, it means there are two winners (like Masa and Vettel as hero of 2008).

What Bee did was take all the nominations from this vote and then everyone votes for the ultimate winner.

Yes, two races is barely anything and people counted Vettel as a rookie in 2008.

At the very least, it was his "rookie season".
 
Snow has caused havoc and the votes are being counted.

Bee used to run them this way; take all nominations then pit them against each other, a new thread with the top 3 nominations will be opened tomorrow ans then you will need to vote for the best.

Then the awards will be announced!
 
Ok guys promise the finished thread will be up tomorrow. There will be no play off as each category has enough clear winners to avoid the vote off!

Have some patience please. I need to write it all up! Anyway whats the rush, If we'd had the second round knockout we'd have got the results after Xmas.
