Its been a long wait since the last proper gran turismo game.

We have had all types of information being leaked out, rumours, confirmations, release dates, delays and everything in between. Now just a few days to go until probably one of the biggest gaming releases that i can remember (i have never been so hyped waiting for a game before!).

Throughout all of this, we could all count on the latest news and updates on this site. The threads have been good reading, with good ideas, banter and well thought views. The mods have been on top of things to stop boards being too cluttered, so thanks to them.

And thanks to Jordan, excellent site and blog, with all the news we could possibly want.

Not long now.....
 
If they do lock it, they lock it, but I figure it is worth putting a thank you out there for all the mods and super mods and Jordan himself for having this wonderful reference tool available to us as a community, but also having kept up on everything throughout the years GTplanet has been here, and especially to all the hardwork the staff has been trying to do to make everything easier for us. These last few months have been pretty hectic around here.

Greatly appreciated GTPlanet, thank you! :)
 
Yes, thank you to the various GT Planet members who have provided the rest of us addicts with videos, Photo-Mode shots, overview commentary, and such. They've been greatly appreciated on this end.

Especially coming down the home stretch to GT5 release, it's nice to have one single place to go with up to the second news and info 24/7. More than just to the awesome Admin and Staff, some thanks needs to go out to the entire English-speaking Gran Turismo community for getting every tiny detail into this forum as it happens.
 
Yes i have to say thank you, it's made my wait for gt5 sometimes bearable/unbearable but all in all hats off to the lot of you for keeping my GT life support machine alive :)

Join Premo? or Put this in the Rumble Strip? But thank you Mod staff and Jordan for keeping the same goals for years as a forum. Not just for covering Gran Turismo!

I also want to thank all the mods , and especially , Jordan , for being even a bigger GT nut than I am . :crazy:
Special mentions also to Amar212 aswell . He was the guy that got me hyped up for GT4 way back in 2003 - 2004 , and still does today .:scared:
So Amar , thanks for being such a thrustworthy source of information for all these years .

C'mon everybody , let the GTP-team know how much they are appreciated .
Wouldn't hurt to do that once in a while .

5(some say 3) long years but alas we are here, the end of the wait, now a new stone will be turned, many have talked it, now time to see who will walk it.

Minus the G-rated etiquette:lol:, this is the best forum of all. On a good day you have the equivalent of a small American town in one topic at one time, everybody is involved, when rumors surface, everybody scowers to find what bit of info they can in dozens of languages to relay it to their fellow Planeteers.

A true community, if you play your cards right, you can belong, if you come with your face crinkled up, holding your nuts like you dont GAF then its ciao ciao to you.

Many thanks also to the Planeteers who spend their precious time of their life mucking about in here debating and arguing and searching and sharing.

Aye, good thread! a massive thanks to jordan for putting in the time and effort to make a great site. also i think a shout will have to go out to famine, venari, and co, and Amar as well! i think with all with what they done, and they have had to put with, i think a thanks is needed 👍
