Well, I suppose I better get this thing started. I will be getting GT5 Wednesday morning and by the looks of it, will be spending entirely too much time in photomode.

Until then, I will give a brief introduction of myself. I'm not necessarily new here (though I am new in terms of join date), been playing GT since the first one and I take photos in real life, mostly automotive. I usually hang around both the car show crowd and the drifting crowd as I feel both allow me to be equally creative with the end result.

Take what I will say next however you want to, but I hope you take it as inspiration. I didn't really play around with a photomode in a game until Forza 2. From there, my style progressed even further in Forza 3, but quickly lost interest in an in game photomode (you may remember me as either ID Lizard or O9K Chocobo). What I did pick up from it though was a hunger to do it in the real world; actually being on track taking photos, being around exotic machines like Ferraris, Lambos, Moslers, etc. After a lot of hard work and putting myself out there, I've met my goals and exceeded them.

Anyway, I hope that wasn't too boring. Until Wednesday, if anyone would like to see some of my real life work, I have a link to my Flickr page in my signature. I suppose also since everyone else is doing it, if you'd like a particular car shot, let me know and I'll see what I can do :)

Great photo's on your link, look forward to seeing your GT5 photo's & how close they are to your real pic's.

Thanks for the reply guys and Pebb, good to see you over here as well! A little bit of interesting news for anyone who wishes to read it: I will be using GT5's photomode as a simulation environment for my final project in an employee training and development class. My final project is "how to execute a photoshoot" (this of course includes preparation, management of gear and, of course, shooting). Since (hopefully) GT5's photomode acts very similar to a DSLR, it can provide the best alternative since I'm sure not many people in the class have a camera, much less a DSLR and I probably won't have enough time to take the class on a field trip. As this develops, I will update on the status of it.

First two images so far. Cannot stop playing this game. More photos will come soon when I get more cars but so far, here's my two.

As an owner of a Turbo II FC, I command you to take more pictures of your "Poject Drifter". (please)

Got a few action shots of the FC as well as a new project that has been completed. I call it the smoke machine because I was drifting with a couple friends in it and they couldn't see anything while following me instantly.

I'm not the biggest fan of the new Camaro but I gotta say your photography made it look spanking good.

Thanks for the comments guys! BIG update time. Found me some new drifty machines as well as some nice toys to play around with.

Well guys, today is the day. I'm too lazy to look back on the OP of the thread, but I'm sure I've mentioned it.

For my training and development class today, I have to train the class a skill. Of course with my love of photography, it is related to it. I have no idea if anyone else has attempted it before so it will be interesting to say the least.

I will use Gran Turismo 5 as a simulation environment for the other students to try photography.

I will also update this gallery when I get home later.
