I have G25 and i'm just wondering about how it is with the options for it?

Can i adjust something?

Like headlights and the windshield wiper?

I only did a quick arcade mode race in changing weather. I have a G25, the headlights and wipers came on/off automatically. As far as flashing your headlights, I'm not sure yet.

Cheers

i tryed GT5 at my friend's home... with g25 you can only toggle highbeams.. for use horn and wipers i used a normal dualshock, which is R3 for wipers and L3 for horn
BTW GT5 IS GREAT!!!

it seem that the wheel rotation adjust automaticaly on the car you use i notice a diffenrence with the kart

Dont remember where i found this picture, but it make's is easier to remap the buttons on the G25. (Thx to whoever made this.)

Quick Question: Do you still have to push the triangle button to activate the clutch?

What I don't remember is which of the wheels in the "Options" menu you select to customize.

Actually, you dont! This was one of my surprises :D

Default is Clutchless H-Shifting, paddle shifting is also available at the same time

As soon as you press the clutch, the clutch shifting is activated and you can miss gears etc etc if you dont use the clutch properly.

To re-activate clutchless shifting, simply change gears once with the paddle and the h shifter will now work clutchlessly

GOOD FEATURE!!!!

Sweet, I got quite tired of pushing the button in GT5P.

Thanks for the answer.👍

priceless, mate.

thats a good feature from polyphony. altough they didnt get a specific compatibility with the g25/27, that feature is really very usefull. the best of both worlds really.

thanks for discovering that.

cheers.

does anyone have the G27 assignments?

since the g27 has more buttons than the stock controller, i believe that some keys might be difficult, if not impossible, to set.

but the above buttons on either side of the wheel, should be the r2 and l2.

I had problems with my G25 in that I simply didnt have enough buttons for all the in race functions.

Solution: A G25, a DS3 and some electrical insulation tape. Now it feels like I really am driving a race car and its good being able to look left/right with the right stick, not to mention using the handbrake without ever taking my hands off the wheel.

I think the G25 works very well with GT5. Although (it might be just me) I think the force feedback isn't as strong as in GT5P and it feels quite 'loose' in the centre of the wheel (when it's straight).

The clutch has improved, it now has more of a biting point rather than On/Off as with GT5P. This means quicker gear changes and less chance of hearing your engine rev whilst seeing the dreaded 'N'.

You not getting the braking problem, mine stay slightly on some times and I’ve seen other comment on this as well. I noticed it in my first race in the last corner, my car wouldn't rev and i got passed.

No, I haven't noticed that but have had a bit of trouble with second gear on the rare occasion as I saw you mention in a different thread.
