I'm down; I love karts.
Custom tracks are selectable online, how? I couldn't figure out how to do it when I was hosting a match.

You really should start to think about your spelling and grammar, unless you want me to issue a warning for lazy grammar ... - interludes
Uh, that's some ********. Firstly I didn't spell anything wrong, and my grammar is fine as it was. The only issue you could have had was with the fact I didn't capitalize ... oh no.

Bumping for interest.
Please don't. You created this thread at 2:22pm. You bumped it at 4:29pm. Now, if it had been a week since the last post in this thread, then I could understand the bump. As it stands, however, bumping after just two hours and seven minutes is hardly justifable and could well be considered spam. You have to realise that people are playing GT5 all day and only really logging onto the forums at night once their gaming session is over. It's currently 6:40pm local time for me, which means it's 7:40am in London and some time around 12:00-1:00am in America. As you can see, the lack of traffic in this thread can be explained by the relative local time being too early in the morning for most people to be on the forums. So I would suggest you wait a while before bumping the thread again - give people time to come to it, or else I'll start issuing warnings for useless posts and spam.

And it's not that there's a million post's in here either, some of the threads here were started in September and quite a few posts are made a few days ago.....

I'm interesterd. Now i can kart year round since its the offseason for my real karting. PSN= TDRdirtyjersey

I'm wondering if the Daytona Road Course will be one of the venues for this Karting series that you proposed. If memory serves, the WKA has a race or two there every year, one of them being close to the end of the season.

Haven't really made up a schedule yet. Just waiting for more people till i decide what to do.

I'm down too! I love karting and it's hard finding games where people aren't just driving around bumping everyone off the track.

You are correct WKA does race at Daytona Road course.

Gonna wait a couple more days and see if a few more people come.
I have a general idea on what the tracks will be. Some courses will be raced more than once since there are not many small courses. Daytona i guess will be on the schedule. Probably the last race of the series.

EDIT: Mock up of the schedule

Rd.1 Eiger Nordwand
Rd.2 Autumn Ring Mini
Rd.3 Autumn Ring
Rd.4 Tsukuba (Will be using the little corner before the final tight hairpin)
Rd.5 Cape Ring Inside
Rd.6 London (Rumble Strips off limits)
Rd.7 Madrid Mini
Rd.8 Daytona Road Course
Rd.9 Eiger Nordwand

Since course maker isn't allowed online yet, we will just have to do with what he have. Personally Eiger produces the best racing. Has both long straights and a tight sections. Hence why we start and end with the track. Daytona will be interesting but the average lap times are around 3min long. One final note is that go karts don't like rumble strips at all.

I'm in, PSN GTP_ranhammerR34. :D

Well, I'll choose to throw my helmet into the ring and join in. :)

I'll be taking plate #38 for the record. You can change the plate numbers on your cars if you have them. ;)

New poll added. Also could you post at what time you would usually be playing at. You may also reserve your number if you would like.

Assuming I get GT5 for Christmas, I'm interested. Save plate #43 for me please. :)

My number will be... #17 :D --- Randy

Anyone interested in a possible enduro during the middle of the season? It would be double the race length of a normal race, probably at London.

Something else to have in mind...

If memory serves, online games can have up to 16 players race against each other. Will there be a maximum # of entries for the series? If not, will each round have Qualifying heats and a Final?

Can you save me #2 please?

EDIT: And I'd rather race on Saturdays because Sunday is football day. I gotta watch my Raiders play! :D
