2x Videos of GT5 loading from PS3 w/ SSD

Hey guys I've placed a Crucial RealSSD C300 (128GB) in my PS3 and it works wonders for loading.

I have uploaded a couple of videos showing improvements.
Can someone with a default PS3 HDD compare timing?
How about without installing?

Here are the videos:

It makes getting the licenses much more tolerable.

I'm willing to take requests -- though you have to be patient with me n_n

Nice! Those cars loaded fast as anything. Hell I'd be prepared to downgrade (in terms of memory) to an SSD if I could find one cheap enough.

It seems it's twice as fast in loading the race in comparison with mechanical harddrive, but it's just my guess since I cannot compare it directly.

For me personally, It's not worth the higher price of SSD. Forza 3 has much longer loading times.

@Andrew: If there's a game for which it's worth it (PS3 SSD) it's this one. I intend to play this game for hundreds of hrs. You may even want to buy a small SSD and use it just for GT for a time until you're ready to move on.(GT6? lol)

You might be able to attach both drives to a PC and use a disk imaging program to mirror them. I think Norton Ghost and Acronis True Image will do copies regardless of file system, but I don't know for sure. Likely there's some info on the web about how to do this.

But what I'm reading is that SSDs don't improve performance much. That's a real shame. At least we don't have to wait for load times from CD/DVD.
