A thread for all you speed freaks out there, post the fastest speed you've gone at so far, it can be mph or kph and the car can be tuned or stock, please state the car make and model. I'll start.

Veyron 16.4 '09 @1015bhp=243mph (mulsanne straight)

Well like I said the production cars top 10 with only oil changed stock speeds are here finally:

1. Veyron: 244mph
2. TVR Tuscan 12: 222mph
3. Mclaren F1: 221mph
4. Ferrari Enzo: 219mph
5. Corvette ZR1: 218mph
6. Saleen S7: 216mph
7. Ford GT: 215mph
8. LP670-SV: 214mph
9. Mclaren MP4-12c: 211mph
10. LP640: 211mph

Only real stand out one is the ZR1.

211mph in a fully modded '69 Challenger R/T at SSR7 while drafting behind another car

Damn, you guys got demon speed. I'm still gettin up in a Civic. But I got the stealth Mclaren up to 221 on the limiter. I need to adjust the tranny cuz I think 250 might come out of it.
 
I think what's more impressive is I got my 62 Special up to 362 km/h last night online LD

Same car obviously, but first i did it on the mulsanne straight, 427 kmh (265)

And it was a free veyron too, i just bought every tuning part available.

Have any of you tried drafting?
 
Ferrari 512BB not fully tuned, but almost, running circa 515bhp seems to be gaining a little bit with every race (do cars get run in!?). - 210mph with some drafting. around 205mph on it's own.

191mph in a 435bhp S2000 going down the tunnel on ssr7
 
I hit 370 Kph on SSR7 in my 690hp 97 JZA80 Supra.

I thought I would get more power and speed from it but sadly no. Still pulls hard on most tracks.

YES! Its been happening to a lot of people across the forum. Cars get broken in. Its Awesome.
 
My fastest is 212mph in my RUF RGT, I kinda swapped my Veyron for a Yellow Bird as soon as I won it so I never had a chance to max it out haha

What about fuel consumption, do you know how to enable it? Because veyrons fully loaded tank isn't helpful.
 
361KMp/h (220mph) in my 645hp (not fully tuned) Countach 25th Anniversary on SSR7. Got close on Circuit de la sarthe 2009 no chicanes but was way too hard to keep control. Fun though :D

An hour messing around with my mate earlier I used 1/8th of a tank in my 512BB, and doing burnouts wore my tyres down to under "half".

225mph in a standard Mclaren F1 so far, i didnt wanna spoil it by tuning it and i've not really got any super powerful cars yet. there's not very good places to test it though, other than lemans and perhaps indy.
 
380 something km/h in my Mazda 747B Stealth. I've been smashing A SPEC so I haven't really gone chasing any records. My fully modded 458 Italia barely cracked 310km/h at Monza :(
 
232mph at Indianapolis with a toe from a Toyota in my Peugeot 908.

Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG - SSR7 - 241 mph
 
Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione - 41mph, in reverse, down the Mulsanne.
 
360km/h at daytona with draft, 320km/h alone at lemans in my '88 Toyota Supra. Fully tuned.
 
with the stock transmission, stage 3 engine, intakes and exhausts, and racing rain tires, I got 241mph on the rainy wangan online, in 5th gear, using the Viper ACR.
 
355-360 km/h with my fully modded 458 italia :D

Got smashed by a Veyron on SS7 like I was standing still haha
