Im having problems getting a car to win this both in A and B Spec. I only have 2 older cars that are fast (Shelby Cobra and a Buick) but there crap on the corners. What cars did u use to pass this event and where do u get them from??

Thanks

Lamborghini Countach. Just tune it up to max bhp, add a wing to increase downforce, maybe lower ride height. Then you should be able to win the races. Only hard part is that really fast race car, ljb2 racecar or someting. Thats the only car that's faster than you.you can beat him but if you try restarting the race long enough he might not participate the race...

Get the Toyota 7 from B-Spec like the wind and you will have much greater success here.

btw the 2J is the fastest in low speed corners so it is hard to beat in the second race especially if it gets to the front.
The Toyota 7 is the fastest car allowed in the event but doesn't have the low speed grip of the 2J. Bob will win Deepforest easy with the 7 but may struggle on the second one. Keep trying and you will get a line up where there is no 2j in front of you and then it is doable.

This is what I did, I think Bob might have used the Jaguar historic racing car (XJ12 or 13? Can't remember), but in A-Spec I used the 7. I just increased the downforce for the first race and for the second I played around with the LSD settings, I turned up the braking sensitivity a bit and it seemed to make it very stable under braking, yet when I was turning through the hairpins at Côte d'Azur it swung the car round perfectly. Of course, it might just do that anyway, there aren't any low-speed hairpins on Deep Forest.

The thing with the 2J is that it is a fan car and produces quite a lot of downforce at low speed giving it a big advantage at speeds below 100 mph in corners.

I used a Dodge Challenger R/T [1970] RM which had to be fully tuned just to match up, but its pretty good, a non-RM'd one with a full transmission helped me win the muscle car races from the 2 previous leagues so its a good useful car, its also decent for the Extreme American Car Championship [or something of a similar name], a Chevy Camaro SS 1969 RM could also work, but i havent tried that.

The Dodge or the Camaro can work in A-Spec but poor Bob did not have much luck in either one of them.

I thought I could do best using the Toyota 7 and wanted that car for a while. Then I got the Chaparral 2J and was able to easily gold Expert-Historic. It's a very fast car. Good luck.

I golded Cote d'Azur (monaco) and got bronze with the lamborghini countach.

I will wait till I get the Toyota 7 or chapparel 2J car to gold the bronze one.

I've got a Jaguar XJ13 chrome line but it wont let me enter this race with it, any ideas?

buy the tires required for the race and then it will let u, check the race requirements and buy what ur missing or remove stuff from the car in the tune area.

can you buy the 2J from the used car or do you have to win it?
oh an how much is it, cus i keep seeming to buy cars just for the colour....o_O

I've got all sports/racing tyres and it still wont let me, if its a tyre issue it will show up in your garage as an available car for the race it just wont let you in after you've changed to it :0
