B-Spec Data Keeper
B-Spec Data Keeper (97-2003 Excel File)

it's a little data keeper for all your xp and credit earnings, which then computes which races give the most amount of xp and credits per minute. just input the data under Credits, XP and Completion Time and it should automatically give out the credits/min (CPM) and Exp/min (XPM). for championship series, i've included a "Bonus Field" for the Championship bonus. fill those in as well and it should also compute for the CPM including the bonus.

btw, to input time, use this formats:

non-endurance:
mm:ss.ss (m-minutes; s-seconds)

Endurance Races:
hh:mm:ss.ss (h-hour; m-minutes; s-seconds)

also, i've inserted fields such as car used and B-spec bob management to give users a better perspective when comparing results such as "which car did [event] the fastest", "which race required the least supervision of Bob", etc.

i have also locked some of the fields that contains the formulas to prevent accidental mishaps. but if you feel like editing it for your need, i wrote the password in one of the cells beside the main tables (it's 123456).

that's pretty much it. enjoy, and i hope it helps. :)

no prob man. glad it helped you. if you have questions, post it here and i'll try to answer them. thanks! :)

what sector times do you need forn nurburgring GP/F to get gold? and also suzuka? thnx :)

very nice, when i was just about to post about my X1 grinding stats i found this lol.

i figure i'll post em here for anyone interested anyway.

X1 grinding comparasions.

gone like the wind indy:

average completion time: 3mins (not taking into account menu times anymore since it can be done alot quicker now to re-enter a race)

= 3564xp + 80k creds

= 1188xp/minute

= 19xp/sec

compared with:

laguna seca 200mile enduro.

average completion time = 90mins (averaging around 50sec-1min laps, easily done, my best lap was a 44sec)

90mins = 158078xp + 222k creds (abouts)

= 1756xp/min

= 29xp/sec

so as you can see if you want to grind XP with the X1 i suggest the laguna seca enduro if you have the time.

i am not high enough level to test any other enduro, also i havn't tested the first enduro either with an X1 yet. the first one took me 90mins in an FGT.

figured i'd post my findings since i started grinding with my X1 since i know alot of people will have an X1 now.

awesome spreadsheet though takes all the hard work out of it!

might i suggest making it a google doc with a few people access to it so it can be updated with all the XP fields for the events and average completion times for different cars etc?

that way it can be viewed by everyone on the forum and people can add to it overtime with there data?

for XP, i find the indy 500 endurance to give the most (credi is uber low tho).

can you remember how much it is excactly and how long it roughly takes you to finish the event and what car you used?

B-Spec:

X1: Time> 2:17:xx XPM>1151.55 xp/min
Mazda 787B: Time> 2:40:56 XPM>980.27 xp/min

keep in mind that these are completely AFK races. so bob is mostly in the 'cool' zone, and thus made slow lap times. lap times can still be lowered by a fair amount by keeping his pace meter in the middle, but my aim is to have the most rewarding race with least effort in my part.

edit: so i noticed, you did the laguna seca race in A-Spec?

so just to give you a better perspective and a point of comparison, here are the data that i got from the same car (also AFK management) in the laguna seca race.

Mazda 787B: Time> 2:27:08 XPM> 649.49 XP/min

so from ~650xpm to ~980xpm, roughly 330xp/min difference.

yeah its amazing how much difference there is between a-spec and b-spec. i am not high enough in b-spec yet to do the enduros and i figure if im going to be grinding for levels and am going to be playing for a few hours i might as well do a fun enduro rather then repeating the same race 600 million times lol.

once i get high enough i'll do an a-spec of indy in the X1 and compare.

but imo, B-Spec is the solution for effortless (or at least minimal effort) grinding. @30 you unlock SV's challenge and try to beat it. if you can't you still get the X1 @35 B-Spec.
