I'll try this out now. If you start a public online server, post some quick info about it here and hopefully you will get a few good racers to join! :)đź‘Ť
 
This is a very good idea.

I was thinking about making a thread like this, because im so tired of having no one to raise with other than random people who think its all about picking the fastest car, put all assist, and then smacking into each other at the first corner.
 
I was just thinking about this last night. Go for it people!! Just make sure to state the time of your post and time zone as well.

3 laps (might be changed on some courses)
Change car/track after every race
Sports Hard tyres
instant start, no free run bullcrap

Any servers up just now? I`m about to go online for about two hours. Looking for some clean racers. Yes I am quite bad under pressure. Try to be clean but pressure + G27 = :crazy:.

Server name. GTP. Clean or boot.

Cars max 512 BHP.
Min weight 1100 KG.

No assist, besides ABS.

Penalty, damage, and false starts enabled.

An idea for you all would be to put the room number so that everyone can join without having to look through 250 rooms or so.
 
Just put up a room where I'm doing some test runs and tuning my new touring car. If anyone wants to do some free runs and get their tunes down a bit better you're welcomed to join. I'll do some racing as well.

How do you set the room number ?
Is this different from your "my lounge" settings. ??

I would like to start, or join a room/lounge soon, but I'm very new to this online stuff. :nervous:
Having just purchased a headset, I would also like to know if that works ok...

Just go ahead and make a new room. Once the track finishes loading and everything, you'll see the 20-digit code up in the top left corner. That's the room number you send to people so that they can join.

If we say what track and lobby name we can narrow it down to a few rooms by searching only rooms of that track. Of'course if we change track this wont work, but sometimes it'll be a lot easier than typing in all the numbers
 
You do know that Europeans doesn't see American rooms unless they change the search settings, right? So, if you make a room I won't be able so see it unless I change my settings from Europe/Australia to All. If your country isn't displayed in these forums, how would I know where to look?
Besides, it's no big deal to write those numbers when you have created a room and you are all alone.

1200kg - 400bhp to start, players select new regs after each race.

No assists, sports hard tyres.
