Im currently grinding money to save for the PD FGT (until I see something nice in the UCD anyway) and I'm using the Corvette ZR1 RM or the Corvette Z06 (C6) RM versions, are there any other seriously quick cars that will do this race quicker than them?

I'd just like to shave a few seconds off the total time so I can restart and regrind quicker.

and please don't say the chaparel 2j race car (I don't want to buy the hideous looking thing, and I like to ram it off the road so it doesn't always finish 2nd)

How longs it taking you? I did this in the NASCAR I won from the NASCAR Special Event, I was doing 5 laps in about 4mins20 I think. 110,000 credits for 4mins20 was pretty good, I did this to save up for the FGT too.

The Ford GT Spec II Test car can do a lap in 45 seconds pretty easily, not sure if thats faster or not.

the NASCAR i've got is the Toyota, I only have this NASCAR! i don't have the ford and I know its for american brands only, hence why I can't USE my Toyota

ZR1 RM fully tuned does this race in less than 4 minutes, and that's the fastest you can do it.

i can do it in the 3:40's, are the nascars really over 10s quicker? I get 200mph round the bends and 225mph down the straights.

If there's nothing quicker i'll carry on using the ZR1 RM

Cup cars lose more speed while turning than the ZR1 RM. It will take longer with them as opposed to the ZR1.

NASCAR I'll do 46-47s laps ZR1 RM 41-42 I think. The 'vette will save you 5 or so minutes an hour. I've used the Mark IV which is fractionally slower than NASCAR. One of the Ford GT cars might give the 'vette a run.

No, from memory the NASCAR does this race in about 4mins20...so it's slower!

The NASCAR will do a 3'58" when really concentrating but more often around the 4 minute to 4'03" pace.

I'm curious as to what kind of times the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Race Car ‘98 can put down. The few times I've seen it in the UCD, I've been well short of affording it. It had something around 900hp stock.

That thing handles like ****. In GT4 you could easily beat it in a race with a Mustang.

Yes, there were quite a bit of cars that handled like bricks on ice in GT3 and GT4, and they are so much better now. I'm wondering if the Panoz is one of them.

Has anyone Tried the GT LM Spec II test car or the Trans-cammer on Indianapolis? I wonder if they are worth it.

I was grinding away at this yesterday. Funny thing is: when I tuned the Z1 to max manually it actually performed better than when it was race modified.

Then I got the Viper (the rightmost Dodge car in the premium dealership). It has slightly better grip in the corners, so I am able to win without very much effort. I had to tighten the springs almost completely to make it sit better in corners. Anyone know how to make it stick even better to the road?

I used to use the zr1 rm. Then went with the gt lm spec ii race car, and my lap times went down. Now I use the gt test car. At the end of the fifth lap I catch the draft of the last place car. 41 second laps are the norm with the gt test.

The test car isnt as quick as the ZR1 in on the straights, but it loses less speed on the corners. I tend to lap quicker on indy with it.
