Best Premium Race Cars for LV24 and Above?

What are the best premium race cars for the crazy fast events like Like the Wind and the Dream Car race? I hate the thought of spending millions on a Standard car to win here :(
 
Obviously, the Red Bull X2010. You can get it on that Vettel Challenge you unlock at level 30, but I heard it is difficult.
 
Mazda 787B would be the best. ZR1 RM is the smartest. Use the latter to win "Like the Wind" and get a Toyota Minolta R88C for free. Saves you 5.3 million Cr., and the Minolta is capable of destroying distant galaxies.

Mazda 787B is the best from the Premium cars (except the X2010 of course...) for these races.
 
I have the Audi R10 TDI, ZR1 RM and a few other racecars, but my favorite premium is the Peugot 908 HDI Fap. Its so awesome. I managed to get faster laps around Indy compared to the FGT because accelerates to 240mph+ on straights without slipstreaming.

GET IT (in the blue version. please dont stain that car with the alternate paintjob that looks like a clown)

Just how fast is that Audi R10? I was looking at that the other day but it was only 650 some horse, and didn't list any other specs... :(

The 908 is, in my opinion, far superior to the R10. The R10 is really skittish compared to the 908, and nowhere near as fast. Theyre both really fast of course, you cant just look at the horsepower for LMP's, as theyre extremely light and aerodynamically sound.

I got my R10 and 908 a day apart and ran them back to back and despite my outstanding biased love for Audi, the 908 feels like a much faster car. I havent compared lap times or spent much time tuning, but the 908 just wants to leap around the track.
 
Veyron and zr1 race mod for gone like the wind, then you get a minolta.


You win the veyron in the world championship and the zr1 fully tuned is something like 600k.

+1 Completely Agree!
I have the R10 TDI Stealth (More POWER & less WEIGHT than standard) and I found 100% the same thing. I am (WAS) personally biased towards the R10 over the 908 but after driving the pair there is absolutely no comparison! I use DFGT and proper custom built playseat setup (Engineer by trade :sly:) and the 908 is so much more stable and nimble through the corners... Not to mention it has a straight line speed advantage! 👍 The R10 is just to slippery to be anything like as handy around a circuit. I put 1,000s of km on the R10 Stealth until I got the 908 now it is collecting "virtual" dust in my garage... :)
Also, the 787B is way over-rated IMO, it is a rotary FFS!... It has no torque and corners nothing like the 908 (comparative to the R10 however...)

Online Dealership.

I didn't even need to grind to get money, I just kept playing the game and my brother looked at the online dealership.

Are there any premiums in the used/online dealerships? I've always assumed the little "s" on each car means they are standard, but I'm wrong pretty often...
 
Is the Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car '02 worthwhile as a race car? or am I better getting the R8 race? (1mil vs 3mil)

If you want a very good car for about 1 mil I would recommend a fully modded Corvette ZR1 RM.
Probably the best performance/price ratio in the whole game.

Is that just the normal ZR1 with the Race Modifications (from the auto shop?)

Yes it is.
It will end up costing about 800K max if I remember well for the car, the Race Mod, all the tuning parts and a set of racing soft.

Awesome... I've been waiting for the game to let me Race mod one of my cars, I've had enough of the "this option is not available.... blah" :)
