So there are threads on 'hidden gems', all about cars that are rare, they ride on rails or are just a breeze to drive.

What i was wondering is, what cars do you think are must have cars, in every garage?

They could be cars that look sweet, ride like they're on rails, are fun to drive or are just dream cars of yours that you believe are must haves. They don't have to be "hidden" so if you suggest race cars that most people know of, then that's fine. What I am wanting to hear about though are cars that just make you say.."WOW! that was an awesome race"...and you want to recommend others to try. It doesn't have to be a super fast or smooth cornering machine but rather something thats just a whole lot of fun to drive. In case you may have overlooked them in the 1031(edit 1048) cars available. Try to suggest cars that most others don't necessarily know about how good they are or cars that are just to good to miss. :)

I have to say one of the gems is the Alfa 156.

It makes a nice noise, looks good, and is a good handling car.

I love this car.

Was actually going to start getting into drifting but wasn't sure what to use ..thanks for the tip 👍

Lol if you're just starting out with drifting get an Efini RX-7 haha EVO's are really pro drift cars considering they're AWD - you've gotta make a good tuning setup for them haha :)

Yeah...some threads suggested suzuki cappucino (RM) with certain tuning but i think im just hopeless atm

On Topic...I think the Audi A4 Touring Car is such a good car

Bit of power but still controllable

I'd definitely have to say the Escudo, It's a one of a kind car with it's huge rear wing and over the top aerodynamic fins. That just absolutely shreds on any rally course with insane acceleration :)

Haha of course you do ;)...I still haven't tried the one you gave me out yet

Im going to add in the Spoon Integra Type R in yellow. Great car. Had so much fun with it just with basic modifications of exhaust, intake, and tires.

Never considered that...seen it in ucd before but just skipped over it

My favourite is my Corvette C3 '69, fully modded. Its sure not the quickest but it does accelerate and change direction very smoothly and is just a pleasure to drive. Oh, and DAMN it is so pretty!!

Good question - as you progress in the game you are forced to drive Le Mans type racing cars at 200mph+ and it's much less fun. Out and out speed isn't everything. The cars I really enjoyed the most are:

- Alfa Romeo TZ2 - a classic, not fast but you can get the tail out at low speeds and control it so it's a joy to drive; if you hook up a good lap you'll feel the difference
- Ferrari 458 Italia - beautiful and handles really nicely with a controllable dab of throttle to help turn-in when you need it (many people prefer the 430 Scuderia but the 458 feels better to me)
- Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo - a fast car that is really easy to drive, almost impossible to spin
- Ferrari 330 P4 - mainly for the history and beauty of the thing, a priceless collectors piece to look at in the garage and an occasional treat to take it on the track

I agree with you completely especiallu s2000 and Italia there my two favourites atm

Man it is so much fun to drive. And the other reason I had to buy it was because back in the good old days of highschool this was a beat of a car. The nice unstealable fastest car seen at tims.

Anyways to the actual car in the game it is great. Like i said I have minor modifications and still get a blast out of driving it. Its pretty quick too for the lack of tuning.

I like the muscle cars myself. I wish there were more premium ones.

My favorite is the 1970 Chevelle SS, but the 1969 Camaro Z/28 RM is a blast to drive.

I have never really got into muscle cars...found them a little sluggish...i think i prefer zippy cars that are almost out of control...but i do like the look of some of the muscles in the game

I dunno, there's just something about driving a nice line on a road course with a Muscle car. It's teh sluggishness (due to weight) and the raw power that I like. Plus, they sound great.

Minolta Toyota
Mazda 787b
Peugot 908 hdi fap
Audi R10 (will add it to my garage this weekend)
Ferrari 330 P4
FGT

I like to go fast... :sly:

I like your style...got each of those myself specially the 787b and 908 <3

AWD Nissan Skyline GT-R's. Granted I have a soft spot for these cars but...they handle great, are powerful, and are AWD. In all the installments of the GT series, it was always the first car I would purchase. Civic Type R's are a staple too. As is a muscle car, and something along the lines of an RX-7, S14, or an S15.

Just grinded the Dream car championship the other night for my 787b, going to do the same this weekend for the r10.

Forgot to give a shout out to the DTM cars, particularly the Audi A4. The supergt cars are fun too.

Edit, I have the Jaguar I won from the Indy 500 too. Not really used it much yet.

I have grinded the majority of my cars....except....the 787b....i glitched it early on coz i was a little jealous of my mate who was showing me up in it...but i did the right thing with the 908 :)
