Tune: Audi A4 Touring Car

Hey, this is the first tune that I post in here.

It is for the Audi A4 Touring Car.

I just got a 6:46,273 on first try with this setup without any additional turbos, just racing softs.

I almost think that the A4 could handle a level 2 or 3 turbo without loosing its grip.

Downforce

- 35/60

Transmission

- Top Speed : 310 km/h

Adjustable LSD (Front/Rear)

- Initial Torque : -/12
- Acceleration Sensitivity : -/26
- Braking Sensitivity : -/16

Suspension (Front/Rear)

- Ride Height : -15/-12
- Spring Rate : 14.4/12.8
- Dampers (Extension) : 8/8
- Dampers (Compression) : 7/7
- Anti-Roll Bars : 6/6

Wheel Alignment (Front/Rear)

- Camber angle : +2.0/+1.2
- Toe Angle : -0.08/+0.12

Brakes (Front/Rear)

- Brake Balance 6/5

Tuning setup is otimized for good conditions and racing soft tyres. All Aids are off except ABS:1.

The tune should work on almost every track but was especially made for Nürburgring Nordschleife.

It handles perfectly. I will go and have another try and post my next time. I am sure I can cut some seconds. Please let me know if you like it.

Nice Tune, thank You. I bought this car to rerun the German Touring Car Championship because I wanted something that was a little closer to the HP that the AI racers had as I had used the ABT Audi TT-R touring car that had 100 HP more than the competition and the race was too easy to win. But to my surprise with the A4 without any other additions and your tune I actually BEAT my best lap times with the TT-R. The car handles great and the AI was even LESS competition than before. :lol:

Thanks for your feedback. Glad you like it. :) And the more I drive the A4 the more I love it. It is a really beautiful car.
 
Great tune, this one did it for me , us.. we (my sons 8 and 10) are also having trouble to find good cars and tunes for the dream car race and clasic car race , do you have suggestions or even better a tune set up for these races?
we would appreciate your help.

Just a thing, you're posting a tune that's awesome however, you're not telling if it's made with ABS or without, with TCS or not, with skid recovery or not etc.. Would be nice to know which aids it was tuned for. If you can add that to your future tunes it would be awesome.

Also which kind of tracks suits your setup the most ?

RX-7, I'm not the tune poster obviously but when I used the car the only assist that was on was ABS set at 1. all other assists where off and the tracks I ran it on were the ones in the German touring car championship. Not at home where my PS3 is or I could tell you which tracks those where. The only changes I made to the tune were I of course adjusted the transmission top speed to fit the track that I was racing at the time.
