so I got the idea of trying to create a Team Orange STi the other day... I don't think it came out too bad.... granted, it doesn't have the livery or graphics. I set it to 90% RWD. This was the first time I've attempted to drift an awd car. It definitely wasn't the same as rwd... I found awd difficult to drift around the tight corners, but I thought it worked pretty well around the final turn at Tsukuba.

Drift the proper RWD imprezza and it will be good. Until then your get a lot of haters.

I can't get a decent tune on that subie, otherwise I'd rep Kumakubo.
 
I really hope in the next patch we can make AWD cars 100% RWD and that there would be restrictions for races. Because some people might say that their AWD car is 100% rear when its not.

I doubt they will. Unfortunatly the drifting side of GT5 is too small so I doubt they will bother. It would be good thought to be able to buy a RWD conversion kit from the parts store.
 
^^ or a motor swap, That would kick ass.

Oh don't worry... I have some 30+ drift cars in my garage and they are all rwd... I don't drift awd, I simply built this one because I thought I could sort of get it to look like Team Orange... I'm fairly good friends with a guy that is close to Kumakubo and I've met him once or twice. He was really cool and definitely an exciting driver to watch.

I dont think this is an actual team in the game. He probably just wanted people to see his car.

Correct...

Apparently no one can read. No where did I say I'm trying to create a new team... I was simply trying to re-create the Team Orange cars from real life.
 
There is a team that drives online called team orange, really nice group of guys...
 
Thanks, I can't get the newer EVOs or Subies to slide right with a 10/90 split. Hope your tune shows me how to tune one right.
 
I was on the other day with team orange. Alright once they get used to having you around. I was getting knocked out of my drifts all over the place (switched from hard to soft to keep speed up a little)
