It's FUN!!! 👍 I will probably never be able to drive any of these cars in real life. Racing this simulator is just too cool. Yes I crash, and sometimes my bob's are lame :banghead: and sometimes my son hoggs the PS3 so he can play COD :grumpy: But man I am having a blast!!!!

do you play with ds3 or a wheel?

Because I can zone out for four or five hours a day and forget everything that is going on. Plus I love cars and learning about cars.

Who cares..?

It saves me from playing MW2 or Black Ops...

Have to agree with this to an extent. Of course I do still have to play Black Ops at some point unfortunately... :nervous:

But, the thing is, ever since I got my first GT (Concept :dopey: ) I have advanced up the ranks of casual game racer to a much bigger level (no idea what kind of level it would be :dopey: ).

I love GT5 because the game let me drive cars that I only can touch in my dreams
+1 👍 And i love finding a good online room with decent non-homicidal drivers in it for some great racing

And i like painting the cars (wish there was a full-on but tasteful livery editor) and fiddling with the tuning parts

Aside from the usual lack of a-spec events and premium car niggles, i'm pretty happy with GT5 :D

Because I've wanted to race my entire life, and I've never had a chance more than just being to go into my own living room and sit down and turn on my Playstation. I'm not a likely shot at winning GT Academy, though I am still in it, But though I may never race for real, this game has given me the chance to climb behind the wheel of almost every car I've ever wanted to drive, and push it as hard as it can go, occasionally over the edge. As much as my girlfriend, and some of my friends may not understand, other friends understand completely, It helps clear my head at the end of a day! Even if it is just a tv, and a plastic wheel. Been with GT since the day of the release of the first one, and don't intend to stop anytime soon!

I should add that I'm fortunate enough to drive some of these cars daily though... :) I'm a tech for Mercedes-Benz.

I'm actually enjoying 28 more than I enjoyed 18. Looking back, man I was dumb, and some things that I thought were fun were really just stupid.

On topic, I just enjoy the overall experience of Gran Turismo 5. This installment felt a little lacking, but the Seasonal Events could potentially keep this game alive for me for a long time. I see an expectation of other content which would be nice too, but I'll take what I can get and wait to buy GT6 whenever it comes out.

to put it simple, be cause it's so FUN

Lots of cars. Even AE86 SS. Ver 👍
beautiful tracks. sunsets on toscana. just love it

10 reasons:

1. Love Cars
2. Love collecting things (there are plenty)
3. Love Driving
4. It´s fun
5. Allow us to learn about cars
6. Total immersion (from outside world)
7. It looks realistic
8. There are a large community
9. GTPlanet exists
10. Because my neighbour plays it too and now we are friends. YAY

Because its a great game. It gives me an opportunity to teach my soon to be 6 year old (level 4) about all kinds of things, from cars to money management to driving theory skills to patience. He won his first race a couple of days ago and he progressed through the first set of license tests with no help from me (except reading some of the rules).

Seriously fun father/son bonding time.

Yep. Take a stock Chev ZR1, Enzo, Mc F1, or similar, throw on RH tires and run you best laps at Nurb Nord :)
