Laguna Seca: 200 Miles (possible pit dialog box bug found in 1.06)

Okay, I just got through playing a 200-mile endurance race out of Laguna Seca for the second time in this game. The first time I played this event, I was running version 1.05. I would put in 30 laps and pit in. Once I am on pit road, a dialog pops up asking me what I need (tires/gas).

Then I updated to 1.06 and played this race again - this time when I enter pit road, the dialog disappears shortly after I get into pit road! If you go fast toward the beginning of pit road and put on the E-brake to slide into the beginning, camera views can switch by itself more than once as it causes your pit-road dialog box to disappear. Though I can barely remember where I need to move my cursor to in order to adjust the tires/fuel I need, I can't see it!

May I ask all users at GTP to please keep a close eye on pit road as this dialog box disappearance could likely be a bug hidden somewhere in the game. When I get the chance, I'll post an image/video later.

It happens if you enter too sharply. It was present pre-1.05 also.
 
I also did that race yesterday and it happened to me too. It didnt happen the second time though, but I entered the pit slowly that time.
 
What happens when you shoot into the pits at 170 km/h SLOW DOWN, Pit limit is 80 km ( should be ) .

I hope in 3-6 months PD introduces racing rules & regulations via an update. Loving 1.06 though :D
 
Not sure if it's related to your problem or the track it's self, I'm doin b-spec on the same track. When my bob came into the pits everything seemed normal, tires were changed etc. But they only added about 1L of fuel then let bob go! ( needed 97L). And 97L was in the dialog box.

The next Lap bob came in again, but this time everything was fine , new Tyres full tank of fuel.

Some kind of glitch, hopefully it was a one off
 
Same thing just happened to me in the 4 hour roadster race. I came in way too hot and when the AI lost control a few seconds into the pit road autopilot sequence, the dialog disappeared. I found the invisible OK button but ended up taking on way more fuel than I wanted. In the end I still won by 10 laps so I can't complain. No more pit road heroics for me lol.
 
Why would you enter the pit using e-brake anyway?
 
I entered the pitstop in reverse with an x1 at 130 mph and it went crazy lol during that event in A spec mode.
 
Mine did it in 1.05 too, went into pit and if u catch wall or go in to fast the screen pops up and disappears leaving just the arrow to select stuff.
