Yes, you can still trade for expensive cars. It's just not as easy as it used to be, since it now requires random chance from opening birthday/level tickets.
Let's assume you want to trade for "Car X." You need to know two things about Car X.
What year model is it?
What level is it?
Some cars do not have year models (FGT, X2010, Camaro LM, etc).
Some cars don't have levels that match up with gift tickets (X2010s are level 40, LMP/Group C are level 23).
Once you have a year model and/or level number for your desired car, you need to trade for a corresponding ticket.
Once you have received the ticket, you need to backup your save data BEFORE opening the ticket. Chances are good that you won't get your car on your first pull, so you'll need to be able to restore your game save until you get the car you desire. Once you get the car you want, you're done, but your ticket is gone.
If you wish to use a ticket multiple times for multiple cars, you will need to store your tickets on a secondary account, duplicating the ticket up to your primary account once every day, so you can use it again until you have all the cars you want from that year or level.
So, now that we all know how it works, let's kick off Trading 2.0.
