Dunno, I think it's pretty ugly. And it's not exactly a performer, either. Also, my mother owned a Fiesta and it broke down countless times, so I'm kinda biased against it.

Seriously uncool.

Not cool at all, ridiculously overstyling it also makes it look like one of the ugliest Fiesta's of all time. Driven my really old people, or annoying teens that have their parents buy them a sensible car when they pass their test, then get all big headed about it just because it's new despite the fact it's as tenth as cool as a car that could be had for a tenth of the price.. which makes it 100 times less cool than lots of beaters on eBay.

Meh, seems like a solid DD, but nothing strikes me as being cool. Plus, I would rather spend the extra couple grand and get a Focus.

I think it's cool.everyone at my school think it's cool, and that has something to do with coolness factor of a car. Also, gymkhana 3 adds to the coolness. That said, nothing special nor unique to make it sub-zero

I don't like hatchbacks in general because they resemble to me fat cubs but this got the indifferent rating because of the slanted headlights and quirky color.

Mehhhhh. I liked it when it came out because YAY WE HAVE A SMALL CAR THAT DOESN'T COMPLETELY SUCK FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN THE US.

Now I find it completely unappealing in terms of looks and would rather have a Mazda2 despite its "shortcomings". You can't look at the front end of a Mazda2 and not smile.

Fun fact kids: for a Fiesta with those specs in the UK, you need to shell out the equivalent of $23,000!

And I'm not sure what to vote. But I think the Mazda 2 is probably cooler.

Meh.

It's just a 'car', there's nothing special or particularly appealing about it. I've driven one and it was also meh, awful interior too. :yuck:

One of the best looking 'small' hatchbacks on the road today. Classless.

Cool.

Meh, I quite like the green that's about it lol. Personally I wouldn't buy one, stick an "r" in front of that "s" and it would make it better ;)

Clunthoo

Or if they ripped off the badge all together and put anything other than ford or chevy on the front. :)

Fiesta RS...

250hp turbo 2L, 6-speed manual, proper LSD... (or hell, 200hp turbo 1.6) Too bad it would provide far too much curb-stomping ability for Ford to be able to sell it because it would "steal sales" from other cars.

But then, if it's still you selling them, you're still making money. And most people aren't going to cross-shop something like that with a V6 Mustang or a Focus ST. Okay, maybe the Focus ST.

As far as a cheap and cheerful supermini goes I've always found it pretty cool. Great looks, and the best chassis and engine range in its class.

Cool.

Seriously uncool, over-stylized crap. Liked it when it came out but the transmission's not that great, the interior isn't well and can't anywhere match the versatility of the Honda Fit/Jazz, a big part of hatchs. It's not revolutionary, it's not cool or fast, it's like the CR-Z; nothing that pushes any envelope forward. Besides, it's also expensive for the class that's only bigger than the smart fortwo's class. The styling is also, again, complete skewed crap. I mean it just looks horrid. I rather think the Nissan Versa, a very boringly styled car, looks better. It's also bigger, roomier, and better. This is why I hate 'world cars.'

Buy a Focus. Or a V-6 Mustang for that matter.

Cool. Small, fun to drive, surprisingly good, and green. It's a car that you don't have to show off but people will come talk to you if you own one because they've never seen it before. It doesn't have a wiff of d-baggery in it either which is a plus too. Oh and it's green, did I mention that?

It's a plucky and light small city commuter, the price is fair for what you get and the styling is pretty slick. Cool.

It's cool for a small hatchback, but small utility runabout hatchbacks were never that cool.

So meh.

It's definitely flavor of the month. As of now, the euro-centric styling is quite popular, especially among "cool" people, and the small size helps with $3 a gallon gasoline.

However, the particular model you've chosen is only available as the Sedan, and is the bargain basement model. You can't get a Hatch until you get to the SE trim level.

Put this up instead. and watch the Uncool start.

what a fail.

((Oh, and I'd buy one...which also makes it uncool. ;3))

I voted Seriously Uncool. But now that I think about it, why does it deserve that title? Unless I see it on the road and actually think "wow, that car is so uncool", which I don't, there's no point voting it that way. It's more of a "Meh", actually. I see it and don't feel anything positive nor negative towards it. I just don't care.

Ugly and looks like a girls car, and you wont see many men driving it unless it is their perants car and they need to drive somewhere.

It's cute...that's about it.

Using the Clarksonian methodology of determining if a car is cool, which can be boiled down to "will this car alter the way females perceive you?", no...this is seriously uncool.

This is a Generation Y hipster car and would not look out of place in the parking lot at Urban Outfitters. I also imagine plenty of middle aged women who are a bit on the chunky side will buy this car much like they did with the Scion xB and Mini Cooper. At the end of the day, a woman prefers a man who will kill the spider in her bathroom sink...not cry at a Dave Mathew's concert.

Good car? Probably...actually everything points to it certainly being one of the best, if not the best, small car in the US market. But there are plenty of cool cars that are not good.

The car has a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, not a four-speed automatic. It is a pretty clever gearbox, but without any kind of manual override, it is otherwise pointless. But I digress...

Having driven a top-level Fiesta SE, I can say that the car is a very impressive bit of kit at a very fair price. It certainly looks the part, and packs in a lot of clever features that makes the car not only a good commuter, but also an excellent day tripper. It reminded me a fair bit of my old Jetta, in the way that it was a fairly soft car, but was a fair bit more stiff than your average Civic or Corolla. Nevertheless, while I loved the Fiesta for it's practicality and funky image, the changes that were involved with Federalizing the car killed a lot of the fun. Softer suspension rates, losing the summer tires, and lengthening the gear ratios really mucked things up. It is still a brilliant car, but instead of blowing the Honda Fit out of the water, it meerely surpasses it. Throw in the Mazda 2, and it just gets silly.

It is a give/take issue with the Mazda 2, and that's what ruins the Fiesta for me. Despite being down 20-ish BHP, the 2 is lighter, has the firmer suspension, and has the tighter gearbox. Problem is, it is a little more rough around the edges, and lacks that damn Ford Sync. Hurm...

The Fiesta has lost a lot of its edge on me. Until they do the inevitable Fiesta Sport / Ken Block Edtion / Fiesta RS / etc... It won't run for me.
