Regulations
TRACK SAFETY & CONDUCT
- Hard driving is encouraged but be fair and avoid being reckless.
- Aggressive blocking is subject to protest and penalties.
- Cutting corners or chicanes is not allowed unless only to avoid an incident with another driver. The tracks curbing is considered the track surface. Four wheels off the track is considered a cut. Situations will be reviewable by replay and can result in a penalty or race disqualification. Acceptable lines will be determined and posted prior to each race when necessary.
- Negative comments towards other drivers in game will not be tolerated and can result in removal from the league.
- We discourage in-game chat whenever possible as it is a distraction. Please try to hold your questions until post race.
- A stable internet connection is required. If for some reason you're experiencing lag issues and putting other drivers at risk you will be asked to withdraw from the race until you're able to correct the problem
- In the event a race should end prematurely, the race will be considered official once it has passed the halfway point and points will be awarded. If a race ends prior to reaching the halfway point the race will be restarted or re-scheduled at the end of the season.
- Points are awarded based on where you finish the race only. Points will not be adjusted for any reason. This includes losing your connection with one lap to go.
- No points will be awarded if a competitor fails to complete 75% of the race.
- Racing incidents are reviewable by the competition committee. Incidents considered to be unsportsmanlike may result in a penalty based upon the recommendations of the competition committee. A penalty can consist of a warning, loss of position, loss of points, suspension or ban.
STARTS
- Standing starts with false start check will be used.
PIT ENTRANCE AND EXIT
- When entering pit road you must bring your vehicle down to a reasonable speed before the pit lane control system takes over.
- When leaving the pits you must obey the white line on tracks that apply.
- Acceptable pit in/out procedures will be determined prior to events.
GAME SETTINGS
- All aids will be turned off except for ABS.
- Damage will be set to heavy.
- Track grip will be set to real.
- Penalties will be set to light.
- Weather setting for tracks that have real time weather changes will not be fixed. This means the possibility of wet races or qualification sessions.
- Some tracks that have day/night cycles may have special start times. If this occurs it will be posted in the forum ahead of time.
- A race wheel is strongly recommended but not required.
- A mic is not recommended but not required.
- Due to lack of a rear view mirror in most driving views, the map must be "set to car" with a 1-2 scale setting to keep tabs on cars around you.
