Whilst I've had little else to do for the past few days (:sly:) I've created a new PS3 theme - based solely on the Ferrari F40.

I know there is already a PS3 theme thread, but that is a multi-car, multi-user contributed thread (which by the way is awesome - you should take a look and submit your pictures to be included. Hats off to TomHart9 for it) where as this is very much car model specific. I'm not trying to compete, just do something a little different (and I'm using only my images for these themes).

7 Backgrounds are included (one for everyday of the week!) which should randomise when viewing the home screen. I've not added more to keep the file size down.

I'll hopefully be creating a few more of these over the next few weeks based off premium models (mainly for uber-detail) inc. Mercedes C63 AMG and Subaru Impreza STi amongst others.

Wow, you are kind enough to share it with all of us....but my ps3 is now hidden somewhere in my parents bedroom

I might yes as I do have this car, but again they take a few days to do, esp doing all the main/sub icon work and taking the pics so no real time frame or what order I'm going to do them in. I'd like to do lots of different cars, road and racing :)

Thanks Marcelo.

There are a few programs that you can download that allow you to build a theme either from scratch or from a standard template. The easiest way is to use the template and change the elements (backgrounds, colours, fonts, sounds and icons) to your own. You'll also need a few other things like Photoshop and a bit of patience :)
 
well it will be great to see what you come up with next as the Ferrari F40 theme is great and would love one with some Le Mans cars in it, hope to see some more from you, many 👍

Thanks. As I mentioned above its just a case of downloading a theme builder, taking/edit the pics, then create my own set of icons in Photoshop - then put it all together, test on PS3, tweak if required then upload it here.

Any chance of a Honda theme? Crx, crx, integra etc. Would happily help with pics.

Hi, no idea why I missed your message first time around!

Yeah, I'm going to do a Honda next I think as I'm a bit of a Honda nut - maybe the NSX Type R as its a nice looking Premium model (not sure if I'm going to do Standards yet).
 
Dazza - This F40 theme is epic. Downloaded it yesterday & kudos to you for such great work!

If you are hearing suggestions/requests, how about a look at one of my personal fave's being the c.40 years of Nissan Z?

Top notch this F40 theme: keep up the good work :-)

BUT there is a but, i would love a ferrari 458 theme even more :D its my all time fav car :D :D and i think people will agree with me that it does look stunning

A 458 theme is good, but might run through a few more manufacturers before coming back to Ferrari.

Cheers, its nice to hear all the good comments on my themes. 👍 I'm currently working on the next one - should be ready soon.
 
how do I make this work? when I downloaded it to my USB I went to the theme settings on the PS3 and it said no themes found ?
