The playstation has 4 usb ports, and a plethora of other input ports. I wish to use them for something useful other than illegal movie downloads please.

I am patient for Sony, but clearly, won't be ready this month, and when it does come back "rebuilt" it will go offline for "maintenance" for some time(s) again.
