What is your fastest lap time and Total time for the Eifel Race? What car?
Mine is 4:57:453 in the Audi R8 Race Car (Audi PlayStation Team Oreca) '05.
Also, a 4:59:824 in a Gran Turismo Ford GT LM Spec II Premium Version.
Other Car Times from GTP users:
55:6xx lap time in a Toyota Minolta 88C-V Race Car '89
0:57:793 lap time in a C60 Hybride-Judd Race Car 05
58.9xx lap time in a Toyota GT-One
59.766 lap time in a Bentley Speed 8
1:06:xxx lap time in a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

I can't remember the total time but I did a 1:06 lap with full mod ZR1 corvette on race soft only abs1 with ds3 (no racemod or wing). felt very fast for a sportscar :p

I have been using this race to tune lots of road cars did a mid 1:07 with '02 viper premium also same settings as above.

I do this race everyday with lots of different road cars, will throw up some more times as i go :)

I don't remember the times, but I did it in an E type Jaguar, so it was probably pretty slow, but just fast enough to win.

My fastest lap was a 57 second lap.
Please post tunes that are running under 5:00:000 total race time or pretty close to it.
I created this thread to try to give people an idea of what the fastest car would be to grind this race.

Did a 59.766 with the Bentley Speed 8 and a 58.9xx with the Toyota GT-One....did'nt bother to look at the total times...:dunce:

Nice time guys.

I got a total time of 4:56:450 & the fastest lap time was 0:57:793 with my

C60 Hybride-Judd Race Car 05

Total time: 4:45:6xx

Fastest lap: 55:6xx

Toyota Minolta 88C-V Race Car '89

(tunned and with G27 wheel; DS3 times are worse by 2/3 seconds per lap)

I would say that I could achieve similar times with a tunned Mazda 787B... but haven't tried as much.

I'm not a good tunner at all, so I just copied one I found somewhere and slightly tweaked it. This is what I have now for the Minolta in the Supercar festival (Eiffel):

Rigidity improvement
High RPM Turbo
Customizable LDS
Racing Soft tires

Downforce 55/80

Power limiter 66,4% (700 hp; sames as PP :sly:)

Top Speed 380 km/h

Initial Torque -/10
Acceleration Sensitivity -/40
Braking Sensitivity -/20

Ride Height -15/-15
Spring Rate 15.9/15.9
Dampers (Extenssion) 7/6
Dampers (Compression) 7/6
Anti-Rolls Bars 5/4

Camber Angle 0.5/0.5
Toe Angle 0.00/0.20

Brake Balance 5/5

👍 Thanks.I'll Try And Post The Result

I was doing 1:05.xxx in an RM Elise, once I acclimatised to the oversteer.

I'll be driving different cars on this one until the day they remove it, but I've not had a great deal of success with the pure racing cars.

Nissan R89C: best 1st lap, 1:01.4, best lap 57.7
Pescarolo C60 Hybride-Judd Race Car: best 1st 1:01.2 other 57.7
Bentley Speed 8: best 1st lap 1:00.6, best lap 56.9
(My Speed 8 isn't fast on straights but turns beautifully)
Peugeot 908 HDi FAP: 1:01.xx, best 58.1 (just got this only getting used to driving, amazing torque)
Audi R8 Race Car Team Oreca '05: 1:01.8, best 58.1
I never use my Minolta because it's boring.

I normally do a 1:00 with the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. I could use a bently, mazada or nissan for a faster time, but will one second make a huge difference if it's about the money?

1:01.233 in a Zonda R. I think total time was around 5:07.

But I used a real "Supercars" not downgraded Race Cars :)

I did a total time of 5:13.xxx in the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version.

The way i've got the suspension set-up on this car makes running this track fun.I get sideways on numerous corners while maintaining some good speed.Plus this car has always been my money grabbing car in previous Gran Turismo Titles.👍

I seem to arrived late to this party!...My eyes have finally completely glazed over from doing the K-car events to pad my bank account and decided to give this series another go.
Knowing that there are only a handful of cars that can't participate is fantastic because it's always fresh depending on your choice of car.
I now have 7 cars capable of going under 1:00..The latest is my Chap 2J at 59.757 and a total time of 5:04.572.

I doubt you did it in a Jag E-Type, unless it was heavily modded and even then it seems doubtful. Times? Tunings? Or do you mean the XJ13?

Exactly my thoughts, OK variety is the spice and all that but why are people using powered-down racing cars in a supercar event?

Check the opposition for the types of cars usually categorised as "Supercars" (and one or two that really aren't), they are street-legal cars for the most part, not even sure the Zonda R really qualifies as it is a track car only (and you don't see it in the opposition list)

OK it's a fun track and I guess the power limitation opens things up a little but I dunno, it seems typical of the attitude of many people that any of the challenges in GT are all about finding a way overpowered car in a completely different class, to make winning very easy, and I just don't see the fun in that.

I would be very interested if there was a thread like this for road car times only however, ideally stock but perhaps SS tyres (which is how I test most of my cars personally)

It kinda takes the whole purpose out of GT5 being a "Driving Simulator" when all you do is find the easiest and fastest car to complete an event with. When grinding I guess so but when actually trying to complete events I always try to pick a relevant vehicle and NOT upgrade it so a Miata will be able to beat a NSX.

I'm the same way. When i want to be competitive i choose the right car for the situation, but for right now i'm choosing my Escudo for these races lol.Got to grind to pad my bank account.

man, I'm using a M3 GTR ('99?) and best I can do is a 5:36 on the track. . .consistent 1:05-6's. . .tops. But it makes for a fun race.

this^👍 The first time I ran the event I used a Maclaren F-1,a true "Supercar" after that it was all "grinding for credits" so I used whatever was fast.....and so far I've gotten 3 "1000 Tickets" from this event and enough credits to buy all the 20,000,000 cars I needed to complete my garage of collectables!:dopey:

I've gone sub 5 minutes in the Minolta, Toyota GT-One and C60 (can't remember the exact times). I've found it to be a fun challenge to see what cars can get sub-5. Great way to earn credits too, 490,000 for a race that takes 5 minutes is pretty solid.

I find this race course to be pretty fun and entertaining, seems like it would also be a great test course for cars and set-up. Is there a way to use it outside this event? I don't believe it's in the standard course list, so I assume it's a random one-off created course.

i like it too. unfortunately this track is unique to the seasonal event. perhaps we can replicate it via the course maker? 💡
