Graphical Glitches

Has anybody noticed any new graphical glitches? I noticed them a while ago (I think just after or just before 1.10) where while racing it would seem to flicker once into rear view. Then it became more and more frequent (usually in batches) after 1.10, and now it's no longer just during racing, but all all screens. This was the first time I saw it happen outside of racing and it was bad.

What I’ve doen and checked so far:
  • Turned off PS3, home theater, and TV (helped for now)
  • Checked other games; they were all fine
  • Checked all cables and such; everything checks out
  • reistalled GT5 data (I did this abotu a week ago)
Any ideas? Anybody else experiencing this?

well no, but what i've seen in Arcademode: when i lose a part (like a door or so) and choose the inside view i cant see the door on the track. But when i change to an outside view the part lies direct in front of me...strange...

Uu, and what i can say is that the cables cant be the source, even if its HDMI, a cable cannot have influence on such things. U either got a picture or u dont, but it cannot mess with the data going through

I noticed some trees flickering at Monza. I just figured it was the game. Then I started loosing frame rate, it wasn't much at first, I thought it was just my eyes getting tired. It just kept getting worse and worse until it began keeping me from wanting to play the game.

After trying a few things, deleting the game data and reinstalling it fixed it right up.

Check the white road borders using Suzuki Cappucino '95 mirrors.
Think it's an old issue?

Things disappear in the rear view mirror, like the game thinks "he's done with that now, I don't have to render out that object anymore", it's at it's worst in "de la sarthe"... That I've noticed. You just drove through a forest, but there's blue sky filling up the rear view.

For me it’s the whole screen; the whole view. I might try taking a video of it. I noticed it happens most often while taking tight corners. What spooked me was when it was happening everything that one time; even on the initial loading screen. It was a different kind of glitch, then. The whole screen flickering gray for one or two frames every second or three. On the track it’s as if it does the reverse view for that frame or two. Odd. I’ve noticed now certain menus in-game stall with loading for a few seconds. It never did that before.

On some courses (this has only happened to me on Special Stage Route 5 and some of the Nordschliefe variations so far), the road surface disappears completely. It hasn't happened at all this past month, though. I think it could have been patched out.

I drove SS7 last night, the lighting across the fences and track seemed to be flickering much more than I remembered.

I noticed at Eiger that when a curve and spectators come into view their shadows come on after they appear.

The lamp posts in ssr7 flickers when I'm in cockpit view. It's my PS3's problem because other people don't seem to have that problem.

I did reinstall the game data. It was after that I noticed issues with SSR7.The main glitching however is more prominent and distracting that just flickering lights for me. I’m just surprised nobody else has posted the same issue as myself.

You are saying the whole screen is flicking into rear view? Go into controls and reassign rear view to a different button. You may have a fault in the control which isn't enough to be noticeable in other games, but is in GT5. I know a while back I had the brake randomly sticking on without me touching it. I re assigned it to something else, then back to L2 and it fixed it.

On Tokyo in b spec on the frontstretch about 2/3 of the way a ghost like building frame shows up on the right side if the road. Weird.

I was actually thinking this but haven’t tried it yet.
