Does anyone know the Total # of Paint chips?

Wondering exactly how many there are. Starting to get a lot of duplicates/triplicates.

They're 4912 chips according to this link. I think the number also includes same-named paint chips but at different hues and brightness.

Just to add some info. In that thread (#87) and in the file provided there is a list of unique colors with a small number: 2387. I think this list excludes the same name paint chip but i am not sure.
