imo the funniest thing about G27 assign probllem is that they cant code a simple thing as button assignment, but the little rev thingy works like a charm...is it just me or its a little strange?
for me its nothing but commercial contract policies (with Thrustmaster) where the end user is the prejudiced one...just trash your 350€ G27 and buy a 500€ wheel with no H gate shifter yet...lolz
That's my point, I mean, surely they have the development tools to make stuff work in the G27, so it's just a matter of commercial Bovine-Excrement. All buttons of the shifter module worked in GT5

, but the shift lights/paddle shifters/four extra wheel buttons didn't worked. Now in GT5, the shift lights/paddle shifters work, but the shifter module is crippled and the four extra wheel buttons still don't work. Hmmm...sounds like it's not impossible tinkering with the G27 support...
What about releasing a patch for "Other Wheels" support, that weirdly supports button maping for an unnamed wheel with two buttons on the wheel, a d-pad, and eight extra buttons and for another unnamed wheel with six buttons on the wheel, a d-pad, and eight extra buttons. Some people might call them "Logitech G25 & G27", but that shouldn't matter to a commercial agreement given that PD wouldn't be using the Logitech trademark or anything.
But, this apparently logical, uncomplicated, and realistic solution will, like many others, be overheard by PD. I no longer believe in all of their "perfection", "mimesis", "ultimate bla bla", "attention to detail", and "6 years of development"......
